My daughter really loves to color. We've been stocking our home off of amazon for the last year, as she began to enjoy coloring more and more. These days, it's rare that kids prefer spending time with so called "old fashioned" toys and activities, with all the apps, and tablets designed specifically for kids. Lucky us, she actually prefers coloring over watching netflix, so we continue to encourage it. The first thing to take into consideration when it comes to crayons is the brand. I can comfortably say, if it's not Crayola, don't even bother. Spend whatever amount extra to pick up the crayola brand, because all the other off-brand versions of crayons just snap and break on first/second time use. The other thing I consider is value. With prime this set often sells for about $8.99 which includes 96 crayons in color and combinations that just didn't exist when I was a kid. The box is filled with colors of all types, and just opening the box lit my daughters face up. Worth it! This pack comes with an assortment of crayons, some have Gel written on it, which I assume is another kind of crayon but haven't really seen the difference on paper. But they also include "metallic" which is kinda cool as they have a sort of glitter mix in the formula, and lends to a pretty fun experience. To my daughter, they are all crayons, but to the father who has to clean up little pieces of crayons all over the house, I prefer them to stay intact for as long as possible. As a fun game, *because what else do parents of a toddler do for fun* we like to sit around and read the names of the colors and laugh at the creators who literally can't possibly have a toddler at home if they have the time to come up with names for 20 different shades of pink! A cool little crayon sharpener exists in the back of this box, but we dumped the box same day as my daughter opened it, so kinda pointless for us. The quality is great and the price is also great for the amount of crayons you get.

Lots of choices for each color helps move younger kids into secondary colors of the original set. The crayon sharpener is extremely useful.

The old 64 pack plus 32 more colors. What's not to love? I appreciate the additional shades of gray for coloring rocks, and blue for coloring water and sky. ...And more shades of green for coloring plants. You get the idea: It's easier to create more realistic looking work. Two or three of the crayon tips were broken off (the tips were in the box), which was disappointing, but the sharpener on the rear fixed that in 30 seconds.

I Liked it even though the peach crayon came out a little messed up I still like it and glad all of them weren't broken cause if they were I would what a refund but they are great keep up the good work

I bought this for my nephew so we could draw together. It has all types of beautiful colors and a built-in sharpener, which is cool. Looking forward to using it.
