This has been a life saver for me. I work a lot on the go and have to take calls in my car sometimes and after my computer dying a couple of times, I decided to purchase this and I love it! I can charge my computer while driving to an appointment or take a call in the car with no worries about battery on computer dying. This would be great for road trips or working on the go. Very happy with my purchase! It does have a small fan, but it is not noisy.

Used to power my laptop while on a road trip, it worked great even with a connector/car USB outlet converter which I’m glad I purchased (separately) because my rental car only had USB options

It provides you with one standard AC plug and two USB plugs.+ After using so many chargers that plug into the DC adapter in a car, it’s nice to get one that actually delivers the charge that is actually promised by the product.+ The cable that goes from the DC port to the actual converter is detachable. This is fantastic if you are one of those people that has had the situation of cables wearing out despite the actual product working well still.+ This would be a perfect tool for camping or during emergencies. As someone who lived through not having electricity for over a month, a product like this is fantastic. It provides you that much needed power when it’s the most needed.Cons- It can get hot after running it for a while.- At first there’s a distinct burning plastic smell which tends to be normal when a recently created product warms up. It happens with anything that has any sort of motor or a heating element.

I used this to plug in a subwoofer in my car and it worked great until summer came. During hot weather, the inverter will not work until it cools down with its little fan. This means that after you start your car up, it takes like 15 minutes for it to cool down and then you have to unplug and replug it to start it up. Only recommend if you live in cooler weather.

Well, most vehicles these days have plenty of USB connections to charge your devices in the car but what if you need to power your laptop or other small electronics?After using a much older generation Linksys DC to AC converter since 2005 which was about the size of a standard red brick and only offering a single AC outlet and limited by a 24" cigarette lighter cord. Fast forward 15 years and we have a converter that is about half the size same wattage AND two USB outlets! To top it off a longer power cord! (I didn't measure it but I'm guessing 36" which not will reach the footwell area of the backseat.So far no problems, no fan noise that I can hear while driving and doesn't overheat. For the price, I recommend this converter for your small electronics that run on AC only.

I used to used one of the similar powered red one of these inverters here on Amazon that has the aluminum exterior with the cooling fin exterior. I purchased this one because I actually keep the inverter continuously plugged in my car , between the center console and the lower left side of my passenger seat, for charging phones and or laptop etc. The red versions' cooling fins started to scrap my center console so I found this as an alternative. I am really not so sure how much those cooling fins on the red version worked, though the fan on both this and the red version seem to do just fine as I have not had any heat issues with this one as of yet.

The plug is giving me trouble and I have to mess with it a little but overall works fine

It works, however, it did not support a portable vacuum of 100W of power. Got 2 stars because I bought it just because that vacuum. Other than that, nothing to complain

Excellent. I use it to bench test refrigerators from semi trucks as I am a diesel mechanic. The two usb ports are useful for charging flashlights and cell phones.
