Master Caster Deluxe Seat/Back Cushion w/Memory Foam, 17w x 2 3/4d x 17 1/2h, Black

This is a great little cushion. I'll admit, I'm too cheap to buy a new office chair, especially since the only thing wrong with it is that my hind quarters can feel the plastic on the bottom of the chair. I was looking for a quick solution, so I thought I would give this a try. It does exactly what I need: it cushions my back side. Some of the surprises I really like about this cushion: *Cover unzips so you can take out the foam or wash the cover (I haven't tried cleaning it yet). *The zipper runs along three sides, so it is easy to rearrange the foam pieces. *Foam pieces inside the cover are in 4 different pieces (different widths and thickness) so you can rearrange them for the best comfort. *The Velcro on the bottom keeps the cushion in place (obviously, this won't work on leather or vinyl).

I really like this seat cushion. At first when I first opened it, I held it and it didn't seem like it was the best quality. It's very light and It didn't feel like memory foam at first. I was worried. However, I took it to work and tried sitting in it. After awhile I got up and realized that it indeed does contain memory foam as proof from the imprint it left. It's very firm and it quickly readjusts itself after you get up. It's the perfect thickness in my opinion to provide the perfect amount of comfort and support if you will be sitting for long periods of time. I would recommend this product. It's a good price and seems to be of good quality.

So it doesn't work well with my office chair. The velcro strap thingy doesn't stretch enough to go all the way around. Also, believe it or not, it made my back hurt worse by sitting on it. I ended up attaching it vertically, so it's more like a lumbar support and that is jus OK. I have to constantly pull it up, because it slides down...and if I don't sit right, it makes me uncomfortable. Basically I think it sucks...I know, sugar-coating, right?

I found the cushion unusable with all the foam inserts in place. I could not get seated in comfort on either of my desk chairs or my recliner. So I removed two of the foam pieces and re-arranged the remaining foam and finally have a useable cushion for my computer desk chair. I had originally purchased the cushion for my aging recliner, but could never get it situated to provide proper seating. I found the advertising and many of the user responses a bit misleading. However, as I have configured it, the cushion works great with my computer desk chair.

I purchased this to relieve sciatic leg pain I have while sitting in an otherwise hard chair. I've sat on it for several hours on most days over not even 3 months, and it's pretty flat now. At first it relieved my pain relatively well, but now it's not really doing anything to protect me - almost like not having any cushion there at all. I was hoping to get away with just adding a cushion to this chair, but I should probably just get a better chair altogether. I would not recommend this for anyone in my situation, but it may work better if you don't use it frequently I suppose.

This cushion is amazing and comfortable. My hips, lower back and buttocks were hurting all the time and I was tired and fatigue by the end of the work day. I went to my doctor and he wrote a note to my employer saying I needed a new chair because the chair I was using is over 4 yeas old and does not have proper support for my buttocks and back. My employer refused to buy me a new chair. So I purchased this cushion. After I started sitting on the cushion the pain I was having in my back instantly dis appear. Because I have been sitting in that old chair at work for so long it took 3 weeks of setting on my new cushion for the pain in my hips and buttocks to dis appear.

Was recommended from an ergonomics assessment from work. I’m petite, so it is helpful for back support. Mine came with one layer missing compared to the photo, but I inserted foam from another purchase and it works great.

just a piece of foam - not all that great of a product - not much of a memory foam - not worth the effort to send back
