Works perfectly for my two dogs but it took a few attempts to teach myself how to put it on quickly.
Takes at least a few active brain cells to figure out how to properly get it on but it is a fantastic harness. It gives you control and there are no fears that a weak plastic closure will snap. This has no closures. I have a pair of large dogs and when they see a rabbit they will bolt for it. I retain complete control with this harness and I repeat that the best part is that there are no weak points. Fits well, looks good and I highly recommend it.

GAME CHANGER for my anxious dog!
This review is based on the use of the Halti harness, the Halti training leash (2-sided), and a prong collar/head halter. Ever since moving to a dense, downtown area of a large city, my bigger brindle girl is terrified every time we leave the apartment. She has always been anxious (abuse from when she was a puppy), but never to the point that she would refuse to go for a run (her favorite thing). Before this, she would only walk 200 feet from my building before pulling us back inside. I bought this with the expectation of controlling her anxiety-based pulling, but WOW. She is so much calmer with it, and was able to walk 30 minutes, over a bridge, to a large farmer’s market the very first time she wore it. I pair this harness with her prong collar and the Halti 2-sided leash, and the combination seems to be a real winner. Pros: - The “force” of pulling is decreased drastically, and I found myself never being yanked around compared to when using a single-point connection on another harness. - The force from the tightening of the harness (and prong collar) is distributed across the body, which lessens the likelihood of chafing or injury. - Very easy to put on (my dog doesn’t like to squeeeeze her head through harness openings). - Sturdy and no signs of wear (so far), despite daily use. Cons: - Doesn’t really work if you are trying to pull the dog forward when they are behind you or if the dog backs up. With the 2-sided Halti leash, redirecting is definitely easier, though. - Similarly, if your dog plants or reverses behind you, they can wiggle out of the harness if it is loose enough. - The underarm padding often shifts around, so half the time I don’t bother adjusting it for short walks. While I use Ruffwear harnesses for hiking, this harness is my favorite harness so far for daily use.

Great harness almost perfect
This harness is easy to use and works really well. My dog has worn it all day, every day for almost a year, and there’s been no rubbing or discomfort. It's still in great condition after all this time. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it tends to loosen almost daily, so I have to readjust it frequently.

TRY THIS! IT WORKS!
Impressed! My 80 lb very strong independent golden likes to take the lead when we walk. Not one to heel at my side, always pulling to be ahead of me. I have tried many harnesses to rein him in and give me more control and they have worked somewhat but THIS harness is turning out to be the BEST! It has definitely slowed him down. With more training I do believe he's not going to be pulling me down the road! The way this harness works is the key. It tightens on his torso as he pulls and he responds by slowing down. I also use the command "Slow" so he understands what I want. Other harnesses do not work like this one. Easy to put on if you follow the video directions and have a dog who is used to wearing a harness. The medium fits well for a dog this size. I have tried using just the top leash ring for more control and less pulling as well as both top and front rings for more safety in different situations. I will definitely be ordering another one for a spare.

Best Harness So Far!!
I don't write many reviews, but this harness was a LIFESAVER. Harness Size: Med Pupper: 45-50 lb Husky/GSD My dog has a high level of fear aggression. A few days ago, she decided (after around almost a YEAR of 0 complaints) to be terrified of her 2HoundsDesign harness. My guess is a combination of the *snap* sound of the buckles, combined with the pressure under her forearms. Morning walk? Completely fine. Evening walk? Tries to bite, is full on Kujo mode, no walk/normal nightly exercise, only goes outside to pee after I make a slip leash, then pouts in her bed the rest of the night. (She was not injured, I made sure to check later). Cue me (stressed out from Xmas hours and sick with the flu), having a breakdown on the kitchen floor, wondering if I'm capable of handling such a reactive dog. Halti No Pull Harness: No snaps, no buckles. Just quickly pulled it over her head, and asked for "paw" on both sides. I wouldn't say it's as pull-proof as the 2HoundsDesign, but it's pretty darn close. No sliding from side to side when I use a double (front/back connection) lead. I believe that the Halti is superior to the 2Hounds, in that there is quite a bit of slack when she is NOT pulling. Although the 2Hounds design is also padded and has SOME give, it seems rather constrictive, *esp when she is sitting*. I feel like this Halti harness is one I can take with us on long mountain hikes with no worry of chaffing or discomfort. Also, the reflectiveness of the stitching is on point. -------- Previous Harnesses: Halti Gentle Leader: Does my dog HATE it? Yes. Do I *love* it? Also, YES. It's great for when we are in crowded areas and I want FULL control. 2HoundsDesign: I loved it until it no longer was an option. I will say that I worried about discomfort/chaffing on some of our longer hikes. But, it has been the best option for reducing pulling over-all. Ruffwear Front Range: Big fan off the Ruffwear brand, NOT a fan of this harness. There is a front lead option. It's sturdy, but it isn't metal. Also, it slides around far too much to be functional for a dual lead. Might work for some, but my dog goes full *sled dog* if the lead is attached to just her back.

Eindelijl een tuig dat doet wat het beloofd en onze hond wil het graag dragen in tegenstellimg tot de vorige 2 exemplaren die ook nog beduidend duurder waren.

Really good. I have this and the halti lead. It’s not a miracle cure. It makes the pulling less but is more a training aid.

Şu an köpeğimin ön tarafında tasma izi oluştu. Daha seyrek ve kısa tüyler var artık.

Je n'ai pas vu d’efficacité supérieure à mon harnais anti traction habituel qui reste plus facile à mettre et retirer

Perfect for strong dogs that like to pull. I’ve tried other harnesses without much success. The mix of chest and back latching gives perfect control without posing any threats to a dogs neck/throat. Used on my American Staffordshire Terrier
