Worked for what I needed it for. Once my horse got used to having it on, she was good with it and didn't try to shake it off.

Easy to put on the horse. He lifted his leg twice because it felt funny, but decided the warm soaking solution felt pretty good and proceeded to eat his meal with all 4 feet on the ground.

This is great for soaking the hoof. My gelding will not keep his leg down in a bucket. The first time I used this is really tried to get it off but I stayed on. He is now used to it.

Great, tough waterproof boot for soaking! Nice and tall for my horse that stomps when soaking. Material the same as for waterproof bags for canoeing, rafting, kayaking. BUT the hook & loop cinch ties do not work well when wet--not a good thing for something that spends most of its functional time being Wet. Same for the small plastic cam strap at the top--the teeth slide when wet. I must constantly attend to the cinches to keep them wrapped, otherwise they pop free. I'll make my own cinches out of quality Velcro and keep the bag!

Needed to soak a spoiled yearling mule's foot. Yearling. Did I mention mule? We were able to keep this thing on him through Restless passive resistance, downright obtuseness and rope chewing. Durability is so-so; I might be able to get one more weeks worth of soaking out of it, so it's gone into the trunk for the next abscess. Certainly well worth the money and throw Amazon's prompt delivery into it and I am one happy gal!

I could not get this over my equines hoof. I think if it was shortened in length it may work. I had to return.
