13029T - 30ml Bottle of Ink for Fountain Pens and Rollerball Pens - Rouge Grenat

Herbin’s “Rouge Grenat” is also listed as “Bright Red” on the Amazon website for this ink. This is not remotely true. The color is a burgundy color when swatched & a rather dull red when written with an EF or Fine nib. I purchased this ink without hesitation or looking at any reviews because most of the Herbin collection of ink I’ve purchased has been very nice. I am disappointed, but I shall probably keep this ink & ‘enhance’ it vial by vial to see if I can ‘improve’ this color. Who knows? I might make something pretty...

This is truly a garnet red color--very deep, almost shading to brown. There's no blue tone to this one at all. A perfect winter color. Just like the stone. Exquisite depth and saturation.

It may not be as long lasting as some but it's easier to flush. The colors are always pleasing and the flow is excellent.

This ink is well balanced, not too wet or dry. It's not waterproof but is fairly water resistant. Beautiful deep blue color.

Pretty coral color, sometimes seems like the flow is a little dry. Not much shading. Pretty bottle.

I use it for writing.

This ink is truly a dream to work with.

Color is good, and has a great flow in fountain pen

Esta tinta es muy fluida y sólo eso mejora la escritura de la pluma.A veces crees que esta falla y lo que no va bien es la tinta. Con la J Herbin eliminas ese error.El color es muy oscuro, lo que buscaba como amante de los azules.

The delivery as usual was good and well packaged. Used it with Jinhua x450 medium nib. The ink is blue dark as it is given in pic. The gualet pen gives you are best inside of the ink. Need to test it with fine nib.

Item arrived promptly. Ink has a greenish tint rather than blue grey as described in some reviews
