My Samsung S8 seems to be very picky with cables. The original Samsung one has been fine for a year, and then the phone started complaining that it was only charging on slow mode.I ordered this cable because I need to charge other devices at my work desk (bike computer & lights) that require a micro USB cable. And my next desk work neighbour has an iPhone, so I bought this cable and it's good enough for both of us.TIP: I put some sellotape around the top and bottom to make it look not-worth-pinching because cables around our office keep going missing. I doubt it's my work colleagues - I think it's City of London mice.

As someone who travels a lot and now has devices that are lightning, usb c and micro usb.These are fantastic, I am not sure how quick they are to charge but 2 wires cover all my needs.Also recently been used for charging the kids iPad and headphones - plug one into each and leave overnight - hey presto they are ready in the morning.

I have an iPhone which chews through battery power so I use a portable charger, having cable is really handy so I can charge on the go, but also it’s nice to see my friends relief when they have the same problem with whatever phone they’re using!I’ve also used this for 3a power on a Raspberry Pi and it works perfectly

Not used them for data transfer, only charging. Very good and in conjustion with a usb mains adabpter charger, these will charge all 3 items at once. Great for my kids as thay have android phones, ipads and air pods, using all 3 connectors. Great for holidays so I am no lugging cables around.

I used to have my tablet plugged in almost all of the time and it rarely reached 100%. With this usb cable, my tablet launcher says it is charging rapidly, and it does because I never have to have my tablet permanently plugged in anymore. I hadn't realised a usb cable could make so much difference.

DO NOT BUY! FIRE HAZARD!!! Had this for 3 months when it burnt out - it was attached to iPad at the time- luckily I smelt burning - iPad could have easily blown up!!! This piece of the charger melting everywhere- if phone plugged in would have been destroyed. Rubbish!! Not worth it to potential annihilate expensive electrical items.

The cable itself seems quite thin and can see it snapping at some point even if it’s braided however it works well and for the price is really good - happy with mine

I bought these to use in my car. They are fab and with the multi use. More than one person can charge their phones! Superb
