Works excellent holding in bottom dentures, when having a couple of teeth to adhere to.

I used this product many years ago, and it was fantastic. As I only wear a partial denture, I used to roll it into a string shape, and make a circle of it on my denture, leaving the middle hollow to make a good suction, worked perfect. Then this product became unavailable, and I heard they had stopped producing it. needless to say, all remaining items went up in price tremendously. I was surprised to see it available again after all these years, (maybe 12 years), and even at the inflated price of £20, if it worked like it used to, great, I can eat again with my partial denture in place. It finaly arrived, and even though the packaging is the same, and it smells and tastes the same, the producy does not work at all like it used to. There is no adhesive quality, and it flattens out to a thin useless film. I tried using it 2 ways, first way, like I used to, the 2nd way filling the whole denture with a full coating, both ways were unsucsessful, and would not hold. Either this is a fake product, or is considerably out of date, either way, avoid buying it, it does not work.

Follow the instructions and it works... Take note it doesn't hold teeth in place you'll still need adhesive but it makes the dentures comfortable..I was in so much pain with my bottom teeth and couldn't eat anything especially chomp on an apple... But this changed it... Take your time and fit it carefully, then this moulds to your gums and gives you the comfort you need . I change it once a week but could last longer...!! Really, I'm honest where things I bought are concerned as it's money and that doesn't come by very easily so I don't like wasting it.. happy I've found this...

This is definitely a practice makes perfect product. So don't expect to get it right first or even second time. I'm currently using this with my bottom set of temporary dentures. The top denture is a great fit but I was struggling with the bottom, so did some research which led me to cushion grip. I made my first attempt at using it and quickly realised it wasn't right, soaked the denture in warm water as per instruction and removed it. My second attempt was a little better, and I persevered for 4 days. Today I fully removed the cushion grip and made my 3rd attempt. I applied the cushion grip following the instructions again. This time I didn't bite down as hard as previously, which is quite difficult to do because you're trying to make the denture fit tight but you need to allow room for the cushion grip to create the barrier between the denture and your gum. It does take at least 2 hours for the product to fully set. So be patient and avoid biting down too hard and squeezing too much of the product out. Once fully set I still need to use adhesive but the fit is so much better. In conclusion. I can safely say that if you're like me and in that period between temporary and permanent dentures. This is 100 per cent worth a go with practice. As for using it with permanent ones. I don't yet know and hope that mine will fit well enough to not need cushion grip. But should I need to. I would definitely purchase this again.

It glued my teeth to my gums very well and I was able to eat my steak without any issues But I will go on and say it worked too well when I went to bed I couldn't get my teeth out, and my daughter had to help me, It is really hard to squeeze any out of the tube, they supplied a key to wind the tube down, but even so its hard work and I couldn't get it to stick to my dentures at first, but once on it sticks to your gums too well. Finally, it is much more expensive than other denture adhesives.

This is such a wonderful product..once suss out how to use it but well worth persevering. Please give it a try if you were suffering as I was with ill fitting dentures and a sore roof to mouth and gums. Other products all contain untoward ingredients believe me and / or are ineffective. Some people want things to work without practise to make perfect which isn't always possible but suggest you give this product a fair crack of the whip before giving up on it. It's good!! Bit expensive but what isn't..rubbish products can be expensive as well!!

I make my own dentures, I have a full set and wear them constantly, taking them out at night for a clean of my gums and brushing my dentures just like you would with real teeth, reapply my denture adhesive; then back into my mouth., I learned how to do this through watching hundreds of hours of youtube videos on the physics and mechanics of dental acrylic prosthetic teeth by lab technicians and the equipment you need. I have all of the equipment necessary to make well fitting dentures. I bought this product to see if it would provide a shock absorption effect for the gums, thus reducing flattening the gums over time due to mouth/gum recession and depth changes over time, which is inevitable with removable prosthetic dentures. For my dentures it provided nothing more than a mm or two infill to the dentures which is nothing, fixodent ultimate is just as good for this. If your dentures are slipping and flapping about in your mouth, go to a dental lab/technician, NOT a dentist, get them relined and you should have absolutely perfectly fitting dentures. Do NOT listen to a dentist that says pain of new dentures is natural, it is not; hence why I learned to make my own. Over time, I have managed to mould my bottom gums in a shape that holds by teeth in with denture cream. I can eat almost anything, bar apples, BUT I can and do eat hard sweeties, use chewing gum and can eat Dime bar chocolates. Back to the product, as a short-term measure and I mean days, yes this could be a stop-gap for badly fitting dentures, BUT the bite force necessary to get the gel to line the dentures properly could break old/weak or partial dentures. Be careful guys, breaking a £1500 set of dentures for the sake of poor fitting prosthetics is a false economy, get them relined asap. Good luck out there, but as I am writing this, the tube is sitting comfortably in my bin!!!

Such a relief. I had no issues with my bottom partial denture then the dentist fiddled with them when I mentioned me having a lisp. Pain city after that. I went back once and a different dentist filed then and it helped for a few days then pain. I cbf to go back so I tried this product and it works amazingly. Highly recommend!!

Compre Cushion Grip para mi padre y le ha parecido excelente. A diferencia de otros adhesivos para prótesis dentales, este crea una capa firme y acolchada que mantiene la dentadura en su sitio durante todo el día sin necesidad de reaplicar. Lo mejor es que dura varios días con una sola aplicación, lo que lo hace práctico y económico. Además, no tiene sabor desagradable y se limpia fácilmente al renovarlo. La sensación es mucho más cómoda que con cremas tradicionales, ya que reduce la fricción y las molestias. Para el ha sido un gran descubrimiento y lo recomienda totalmente a quienes usan prótesis dentales.

Wow there's many people complaining about the product so they must not be able to follow the video instructions? I mean if you listen & watch you can't get a bad experience. Just figure how much to apply for good fit! It took me 3x for a Great Fit lasting 4+ days. My moms 94 without any teeth except some broken ones but None for her 10 year old Upper Partial to Clamp on so she has No back support. Yet this product keeps her old broken down partial in place with the right amount of Cushion Grip liner. Great Product just watch the video a few times to figure out amount needed. C'mon people it's not that hard to do! ps: No my mom isn't able to make 4-5 trips to get a new denture. made.
