The value was on par for market standards and the quality of the card was good. The card was authentic and fun to hold again. The card was in great condition.

Brings back childhood memories.
Brings back childhood memories. When I was a kid the first ever pack of cards I bought I got a Holo Blastoise, I ended up giving away all my cards so when I started re-collecting again 18 years later I just HAD to buy this card. The new Pokemon cards just do not compare with the original wizards of the coast base set. I love the card, purchased mine from The Troll Cave, they are one of the few sellers on Amazon that delivered on the condition. Unfortunately been disappointed with almost every other seller. Will buy from them again.

Favorite Pokemon
Blastoise was my favorite pokemon growing up. This card brings back childhood memories. I have 2 different card versions of Blastoise but, this is my favorite.

Highly recommended
Blastoise!!!!!! I had bought this as part of birthday present I was putting together for a good friend. I wanted just the "old-school" Pokemon. Anyways I bought a few other cards from the Base Set 1, and even though there were just a few minor scratches in the foil, I'm still giving this card and the seller 5 stars because it arrived fast, safely packaged, and in no less condition than was detailed. I would buy from this seller again.

Labeled New and Sold for NM Price Came damaged
For selling a card for $150 which is already way over market price for even a lightly played card, the one I got was extremely creased throughout the entire card extreme whitening and just disgusting to even receive for the price payed got a $5 card for the price of $150

Collection complete!
I have had a dream since I was a kid to collect all of the original cards and with this purchase I was one step closer! It came in great shape and it is a wonderful add to me collection!

Classic through-back! Great nostalgia for me :) It's value for playing the TCG is not great so don't buy it for that.
