Most products no longer have the 'mothball smell' that made people hate getting their woolens out of storage in the fall. But that odor is needed to keep mice away. I live in a rural area on 40 acres of forested land, and while my problem isn't severe my pump house and garage (separate from the house) are pretty bad. Cleaning out the pump house annually is kind of disgusting, not to mention risky (mouse droppings and hantavirus potential) so it requires a tom of gear, including a respirator. Have found that good old fashioned mothballs, or camphor sticks, will keep them away. A simple and renewable way to keep mice out of my well pump, no chewing on wires, etc.

Could not find them anywhere else. Six packs come in a box and it gets delivered straight to your door so I think it's a fair deal. Upon opening the first pack I immediately noticed that they smell exactly like the bowl fresh toilet bowl deodorizer cakes I used to use. The consistency of the product looks the same as well. I don't remember mothballs smelling good like that when I was a kid. I remember them having a very distinctive and unpleasant odor. To me, these smell good which I guess is a good thing. Don't want your sweaters smelling horrid anyway.

The new para moth balls are more pungent than the historical ones and now switching since I use these for mouse repellent. Put in storage boxes for Xmas decorations. Excellent vendor.

These are the classic mothballs. They work. And are at a reasonable price. For some reason, they have become less available and more pricey. So this is the best at its price. I use these for my storage unit. I definitely wash anything I have taken out of storage, due to the strong chemical mothball smell, but the tradeoff is that they don 't have holes from moth infestation.
