Burg Wächter FP22K Fireproof A4 Document Deed Box Safe Fire Chest, Black

The FP22K is very heavy and feels extremely solid. It is made of a fireproof plastic with an air gap between the inner box and the shell. Because of this the internal volume is much smaller than the external size of the box. I'm very pleased with the quality and would recommend this fire safe.

This document safe excellent, I am so pleased with it. Although it’s quite heavy I manage it well, an elderly lady born in the 1940’s. I strongly recommend this item.

They’re perfect for A4/legal documents. No too heavy but feel solid. Don’t think I’d trust them as a very secure safe - against theft. But in terms of fire protection or water as a result of fire extinguishers I expect they’d stand up really well.

Bought as a gift for teenage son. It is very heavy and sturdy. A lot of documents are obviously kept online now, but this is still useful for valuable and cherished items and certificates, and hardcopies, passport etc. Should last a lifetime.

As others have said. This is not a security safe. It is a fire box and for the price, given it has an "externally" validated rating of nearly 1100c for 30 minutes it's excellent for the price. Everything else I have seen near or even twice the price I paid are self certified for ~900c for 30 minutes. Yes there was some corrosion on the hinge but I easily cleaned this and used a permanent marker to blacken it. I would say is likely due to some reaction with the moisture with the concrete when constructed but a non issue. A4 papers do not fit perfectly at the bottom but by the time I put a few other items in it's not an issue. Overall very happy with this product given the cost of £50.

Item seems solid, not much internal area though, does seem well made and sturdy. The locking mechanism isn’t the best, could easily be broken into so don’t use this as a safe box. I purchased this to store important historical family documents in. And to protect them from the elements as some are over 130 years old. Overall rating is middle of the road, well made, and sturdy, but poor lock, plus limited space inside approximately half the size of a shoebox. Badly packaged, thin cardboard box, with a bubble wrap bag. No sense in producing a weighted product and then not protecting it, to get damaged it transit.

A nice item which is as described. Supplied with two keys.

Extremely pleased with item, solid construction, not too heavy, ease of use and ample space for my needs...

Der Innenraum sollte in Länge und Breite jeweils 1 - 2 cm größer sein damit A4 glatt eingelegt werden kann. Ansonsten macht die Box einen sehr stabilen Eindruck und ist leicht zu Handhaben.
