Great quality part for the price.
This Polypropylene 1.5" NPT to Barb adapter is strong and durable. I used it with a 1.5" NPT stainless steel valve and 1.5" inside diameter braided nylon hose. Everything fit together perfectly. They are strong and easy to shorten if you feel the need. I used a pipe wrench to tighten it into the stainless steel valve. It scuffed the "nubs" on the adapter pretty good but there is still pleanty of meat left if I for some reason decided to remove them later on.

Great quality plastic. Not full bore
I can't measure it right now but the ID of the hole is not big enough for this fitting. this is to attach a one and a half inch ID hose, but the plastic is like 3/16" so the resulting ID is like one inch.But this polyethylene is the right kind of plastic that will last and last
