Better than expected
Honestly, I don't think I've found much from Yaoi Press that I've liked. It always seems half done and centered on sex, which isn't presented tastefully. Although this book isn't on my top list of all time favorites, I was impressed by the storyline and somewhat the art, since it's much better than what I've seen in these books before. By no means is it on par with foreign manga (which I know is an unfair comparison) but the story was such that I got entranced.I would recommend this to a yaoi fan that wants to support American published manga, likes a large heap of drama in their storyline, and has so much manga they're thinking of buying a third bookcase for it. If you're just a dabbler, there is much more out there for you.

Beautiful Art, So-So Story
I was very excited to receive this book, as I've enjoyed Dany & Dany's artwork for quite some time. And, in this book, the artwork *is* stunning. The story itself leaves a little to be desired. It's muddled, not quite as tight as I think it could have been, and the ending was a rather weak, quick happily-ever-after for the pair contained in the tale.I was able to read it within the course of about an hour while multitasking with work. This is quite telling for me, as I was able to retain the story while only half-paying attention to it. I'd expected... more, I think, and so, all-in-all, I'm a bit let down. However, the artwork is absolutely beautiful. I'm happy to own it for that aspect alone.

Sexy guys, compelling story
I chose this rating because I got into the book when my friend bought it at the recent Akon convention we went to. I was never into full on Yaoi, but when I started to read it the characters intreiged me. The art is beautiful and the story is so compelling. It drew me in and I couldn't put it down. They actually reasearched the time period.I would recomend this to any Yaoi fan. Im so in love I bought them all.

short but awesome!
I think if this had been longer it woulda been a lot better but either way I am a huge D&D fan and this novely-thing didn't disappoint in the least! I have a thing for priest and that era of dress so it just made the 3 or so days waiting for this to arrive hellish but it was worth it

Loved this!
This has a darker tone than I usually like, but the ending is satisfying and the art is GORGEOUS. Worth reading over and over.

This story was so sweet. The charters made you feel for them and wrapped you up in their story. I was cheering for a happy ending the whole time.

Exquisite yaoi
I loved that yaoi revisitation of "Les liaisons dangereuses". A pure, unblemished love threatened by the corruption and treacherous intrigue of a slimy cardinal and a scheming noblewoman. But French revolution looms...I think the story is wonderfully rendered, plus I simply love D&D's skill in drawing luscious, silky costumes...and bodies!
