Product that was sent was nothing like the pictured set up. It appears to be an assortment of random parts in the bag that arrived. No directions and no possible way to use this to attach an umbrella to a deck. Will be returning.

Description says it will fit up to 2.5 in baluster. Wouldn't fit a 2 inch one. What I received wasn't the same as the pictures, the outside piece was straight, not curved. Bolts are 1.75 inches. Returned it.

This product solved my problem - I needed to mount an umbrella to the deck railing, and this worked well.

The brackets were exactly what I needed, but one of the wing-nuts was defective. It had no threads, and couldn't be used. I asked the seller to send me a new wing-nut, but instead they offered by a $3 credit. I rejected this offer, and haven't heard back since.

Had spent a lot of time trying to come up with a means of attaching an umbrella to my deck post/spindles instead of using the heavy base options normally found under a patio table. These went on quickly and have held the umbrella steady, even in moderate winds. We normally take the umbrella down in heavy winds only because we would be more worried about the umbrella rod breaking and not the clamping system.

Small deck so needed small beach umbrella . Bought this to hold on metal railing and worked well. Having to use golf umbrella until beach umbrella can be shipped and did a good job.

Works great! Mounted my umbrella to the deck. Seems to be pretty stable.

my deck is small, so I couldn't believe when I cam across these on Amazon. they work perfectly, hate banging nails into wood.
