I bought this wedge pillow to help with sinus drainage and mild acid reflux at night—and wow, what a difference! This was very hard to get used to sleep with. Once I did I won't sleep with out it. This really helps with acid reflux I will be buying another one. It comes with another case to wash it. It did have a werid smell at first but it went away. Its soft enough to be comfortable for firm enough to hold u up.

This wedge has been a boon to my neck and shoulders. I suffer from year-round allergies and ear congestion and can get vertigo if I don’t elevate my head. The only way to get enough elevation with my normal pillows was by using 3, which was too many, and causing issues with my neck and shoulders. This wedge allows me to use one ergonomic pillow on top, and has been a game changer. Only thing to beware is sleeping on your back with the back elevated seems to add more pressure to the lower back so I was waking up with a super stiff lower back for the first few days. I’ve learned that spacing your legs wider relieves this pressure. It’s also quite comfortable sleeping on this wedge as a side sleeper. Only disappointment was that the wedge never quite fully expanded after I unrolled it from the tight roll it was packed in. The vertical side of the wedge is still deformed and not quite straight. But this hasn’t detracted much from its overall usefulness. I added another large pillow case on top of the white one it comes in because white gets dirty no matter how often you wash it, especially from skin oils.

works very good when you need a lift

First off, this is a nice product. It is made well and the cover is soft and it is not too big of a wedge. The reason I didn’t rate it as such, is because it just is not comfortable for me. I am a side sleeper. I purchased this because I was having some issues and my doctor thought it might be heartburn that was the cause. I tried sleeping with this, but found myself sliding down the wedge throughout the night and curled up at the bottom of it. I could not sleep soundly because I was constantly readjusting during the night. Most of the time, tossing the wedge off the bed and going back to just a pillow. If you are a back sleeper and snore or have heartburn, this could work great for you, but not recommended for side sleepers. Sorry!

I like this wedge pillow, it helps me because I have reflux. What I dislike is it’s not the most comfortable at times. I’m over 55. I recently got the idea and cut up a thick mattress pad cover and placed it on top. I would put it inside the slip cover but too much trouble since the slip cover only unzips at the thickest part. It would be great if they made a slip cover that unzipped halfway down on both sides to get the wedge in and out easier so the slip cover could be easily removed and put back on quicker instead of fighting it. All and all I do like the wedge pillow.

Soft and comfortable holds it's shape. Best wedge pillow I've owned. 7.5 inches is perfect to stop my snoring. An easy fix. I sleep straight through the night.

It is important to me to have a removable cover because often, when this kind of pillow is being used, the person is sick. This means the pillow cover may have to be washed due to perspiration from a fever, or spilled food., or leaky bandaging. Not only does this cover go on and off easily (you know how hard it can be to put some pillow covers over foam), it comes with a second cover which allows you to quickly replace the pillow under the patient, It is easy to remove and put back on because the zipper goes fully along two sides, and because the fabric is stretchy. I washed both covers and there was no color bleeding, and they kept their size after being dried in the dryer. My only complaint is that I wish the foam was stiffer. It's okay, but not stiff enough to actually support anything at the narrow end of the wedge. It also does not raise the patient's head as high as some other wedge pillows. Mine came enclosed in a large, clear plastic bag that I store it in.

There is a chemical smell that dissipates after a couple of days after unwrapping and I would suggest not using until then. Mine did come with a spare pillowcase. I have owned this wedge pillow for about a month now and have found it comfortable and supportive.

When I opened the parcel, I was disgusted to find a large yellow/brown stain on the foam pillow. The pillow case was also stained. It looked like it had been used before. It smelled. The pillow case was not grey as described, and no spare pillow case was received. AVOID.
