Great heating mat
This company delivers their products in a timely fashion. It lies down nicely on any hard surface and heats up immediately. I love the fact they came in different lengths and sizes. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because it would be nice if the dimmer had some sort of descriptions for how hot it is. I suppose it is not really possible because of the different factors such as the current air temperature. I am just experimenting some to figure out the right level to use. I use this at the bottom of my betta fish tanks and it got them up to a little over 80 degrees yesterday. Now I'm trying to get it to 78 degrees which is an optimal temperature for them. The tanks I have are on the small side so I don't trust the heaters you put into the tanks. This is a great alternative!

Highly Recommend
This is great for the beginner and experienced reptile enthusiasts alike. For people just starting their snake keeping and researching what types of heating to use for their animals, I myself was looking into how to set up heat tape mats having no prior electrical experience, could have made a dire mistake until I found this item. Heat tape is NOT suppose to have an adhesive backing for any person that complains about it. I paired 4 sets of this heat tape at 36" long to 4" wide with 2 inkbird thermostat monitors to keep the heat mats at optimal warmth for my snakes in their rack set up.

Excellent product!! Great for custom builds.
So this is literally 48 inches of heat mat...which is awesome!! Now I can cut it to use on other builds.

Perfect for temporary or need it in a pinch, cheap.
Almost like thick wax paper... THC tape is better and obvious plastic. This will work in the pinch I needed and the convienence of it being assembled. I can see why this has to be replaced often in racks.I had a secondhand rack that had the same brand of heat tape as this ad, I have no idea how old it was but it had burned through just the same as cardstock paper, it works but just keep in mind it can easily burn up and cause fire.
