The sponge filters appear thicker than the original, although the original had deteriorated significantly so might have been similar when that was new. Good value for money.

Got this for my DC16 animal dyson hoover and is working great

My original filter/s had degraded after countless washes, to the point that the foam was now 'shrinking' and so wasn't able to function effectively!I was impressed that this replacement set included all three replacement filters, which were also properly sized replacements! However the two blue foam ones do appear slightly a courser foam than the originals. But regardless I don't foresee that being a issue, as there are very fine filter materials within the main plastic framed (washable) pre-motor filter.As for longevity, I have yet to clean them even once, so only time will tell on that front?

Replaced the old filters as there's only so many times they can be washed before they disintegrate. Worth the price as they'll last for years.
