Does it work on tile showers?

Hi Rita, sorry to disagree with the prior comment, but WingTite will not work with tile showers. The WingTite drain is designed to work with most all of the composite shower materials such as fiberglass, acrylic, plastic and cultured marble. Tile shower drains are typically embedded in a concrete mortar bed below the tile itself and if they leak there is no easy way to fix them except by removing the entire shower floor. Will this work with 2" abs instead of pvc? the shower drain plumbing is abs.

Yes absolutely. ABS is your normally used drain piping.

Does this come with the rubber flange gasket that goes in between the pvc and the drain?

I just installed one of these and it did not come with the rubber gasket. The instructions never mentioned a gasket and specifically said to use 100% silicone. So far it's working great.

My previous cover was 4.621" in diameter, the wingtite chrome cover is 4.250" in dianeter, is a wingtite chrome cover available in 4.621" dia?

Hi There, We don't make the cover in other sizes, but these covers typically universally snap-in to other drains, so its a good chance that your previous cover will work on the wingtite drain. IF you call the technical line on the wingtite website you can speak with an installer and they will get your situation sorted out.
