Plastec VT42BK Versa Tub, 42-Liter, Black

I am using this for laundry and I absolutely love it. I love how large it is and how flexible so I can vary both handles in one hand. But it is also durable enough to pull my 2 year old around in it as a ride. Perfect!

This is perfect for handling the laundry that builds up at our veterinary hospital. Leakproof, flexible, light weight and easy to handle. Also holds a lot of laundry - great size. No more wasting money on plastic laundry baskets with fragile handles.

Great for laundry or yard work but found it much cheaper at my local Marcs.

I absolutely love the design of these tubs and enjoyed using this for nearly a week. I used it a couple of times before the handle broke! It could possibly have broken due to cold temperature but I hadn't left it at a cold temperature for any time at all. It had been in the house and in the car while the car was running and warmed. We carried it from the car in the street to someone's house, with one covered dish inside it, and one handle broke before we got to the front door. It is winter and cold but it's not as if I had left this in a cold car for hours, it was just a few steps outside. And it hadn't been sitting by a heater in the car either. I could go on and on about how I love that this tub that can be held in one hand or in two, how it's like a bag except with a rigid floor, how pretty and sleek it looks,... As a matter of fact, I was in the process of singing its praises at the very moment it broke..but if you can't expect the handle to hold at all, what good is it? really?

These Plastec buckets are an extremely poor substitute for the Tubtrug brand. I mainly use flexible plastic buckets as litter boxes for my many foster cats, so in this capacity they're not being used for heavy lifting. Still, these Plastec versions which are only a few months old, have already split at the edge and some of the handles have broken. The plastic is much stiffer than the Tubtrugs so when you bend them in half to pour, the edge develops a crack and keeps getting worse. I just had some handles snap off on one side for no apparent reason. Their overall quality when new wasn't as good either. There was a lot of plastic detritus left over from the molding process that had to be razor bladed off, otherwise it would hold particles and be difficult to clean. Although these Plastec tubs were available in a very large size and cheap, mine are held being together with duct tape while I await the shipment of new Tubtrugs to replace them. The Tubtrugs, in contrast, I've had for years. They've hauled dirt, concrete, rocks and water in addition to cat litter. I'll never be tempted to buy a Tubtrug knockoff again.

I thought it was bigger when i purchased the product. I am a bit disappointed. I was thinking of using it as a laundry basket but nope. not gonna work. I have no idea what i am gonna do with it. Well, if you are thinking for laundry purposes, go for the bigger one.

I use these tubs for laundry baskets and love them because they are flexible and hold lots of clothes.

love these things! I use them to sort laundry but I've also used them for parties to hold drinks and they work great.
