Let's Find Momo!: A Hide-and-Seek Board Book

My 15-month-old daughter who is very active and is currently not into books *loved* this book. She squealed with delight every time she found Momo in the photographs. The photography itself is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing for both children and adults. If anyone knows of similar books, I'd buy them immediately!The first book started falling apart in the binding two days after completely normal use. The second one is in the same shape after three days. I really wish we could have this book but without such a huge fault in production.

This is a wonderful book! My 2yo finds the pictures exciting, and the hidden objects are also in a great combination of easy to find, and a little more challenging for a 2yo. There's something for little ones to get excited about on every page. Plus, what 2yo doesn't love looking for a cute dog! BUT, the book started falling apart after just 2 weeks of totally age appropriate, not horribly rough use. The binding isn't flexible enough as most board books are, and doesn't have enough give to open the book all the way, so just 10 or so times of opening the book all the way and 3 of the board pages just fell right out in a chunk. It's still a much beloved book in my house, so I did some repair work with clear packing tape, but that just shouldn't be necessary 2 weeks after first opening a new book.UPDATE: After 9 months of toddler-use of this book, and an EXCEPTIONAL amount of packing tape repair... this book is beyond dead. There is literally nothing I can do to put it back together. Bringing my original 3 star rating down to 1 star. We REALLY loved the content of this book. But books should become part of a child's library! They should get passed around and LAST! This book most definitely did not.

The concept of the book is absolutely wonderful. My 15 month old daughter LOVES this book and we "read" it multiple times per day. It's a perfect first search and find book for toddlers. The problem is the book itself... This is our fourth copy, all of which either came with pages falling out or tore within 24 hours, despite gentle handling. Make sure you have a good supply of book repair tape.UPDATE: We've had this copy of the book for 48 hours and I've already had to repair three different pages. For a book made for the youngest audience, this one should have been much sturdier.

I love the content and execution of this book! Momo is adorable and the pictures are fun and engaging for a child. My daughter is a little over 1 and out of the blue started waving to Momo in the pictures and then pointing him out. Helps that we also have a border collie :DUnfortunately the construction of this book is really subpar. It has never been mistreated and normally we, the parents, are the ones handling the book. I applied fixes multiple times in the past few weeks for binding issues and then yesterday the first 4 boards of the book just stopped being bound to the back half of the book. The spine is still intact, but the interior pages are no longer connected. It will just get worse and will likely end up hand binding it which is kind of disappointing, but seems the only way to make it last.

We checked this out from the library a while ago and I couldn’t resist buying my own copy. On each page, there’s a picture of three items and Momo the dog, and on the facing page, a photo of a scene where everything is hidden. It’s a great introduction to “I Spy” type books for toddlers with so many opportunities for conversation and building vocabulary! The items are usually pretty obvious, although a few might be tricky for really young kids. The scenes themselves are gorgeous photos of just lovely, classy places- a garden, a library, etc, I really recommend this book for kids from about 18 months to 4 years old.

This book is great!! My toddler loves it! (Especially because we too have a Border Collie.) The pictures are wonderful, and the right challenge for the target age group. I was glad to have a cardboard version of Momo's book :) We're fans!

My 1.5 year old LOVES this, and my three year old likes to find the additional items. There is also a bonus teddy bear to be found on every page (I think--haven't found him on a few pages yet...). I like the beauty of the photos--the photographer's sense of aesthetics is breathtaking in each picture. Would highly recommend for your own children or as a gift.

it was instant love between my toddler and this book. he wants to read it every night before bed and sometimes before nap as well. it is beautifully made, it's got clever images and combinations, it fosters intuitive learning and it's fun for everyone, not one of those boring children's books the adult is just dying to get through, i actually enjoy it every time. i love books that show actual photographs of things for my son and this book delivers beautifully. i absolutely recommend

Child's book of the three books of the "Find Momo" series. Similar to the "Find Wally" game. Author shows photos of Momo the border collie, then in subsequent pages Momo is presented with three other objects in different backgrounds, and the child finds the objects and Momo. Bought it for my grandchild after buying the road trip book, which is much harder although in some photos it is not to difficult to find Momo. Grandchildren (2 and 4) love it although the 4 year old says it's easy. She might like the road trip book. Absolutely neat book. Highly recommend the road trip book for older children, although it's a challenge.

My 5 year old daughter loves Momo and while this book is probably a little young for her, she still absolutely loves it.The photography is lovely, Momo is adorable as always and it's such a cute book.I also have a 1 year old who loves it too.

My one year old loves this and points to the dog on each page. Other things to look for as she develops is a great bonus

My son loves it, needs to read it every single day that I need to sometimes hide it so I don't feel tired of reading for him.I bought it when my son was 16 months old.

great book..i got it for my 1 year old... the kid learned a lot of new words and had so much fun looking for momo in th epages...worth the money!
