The glasses are quite cool and lightweight. I could not believe that wearing them for the first time I could read comfortably, even small print. I had the impression it would take a while before I could see clearly through the holes, but the glasses are far more comfortable to use than I thought. Without my prescription glasses I can see only a blur when it comes to the written word so I was quite impressed to be able to read with these glasses, just like that. Felt like magic! I'll be wearing them for 5-15 minutes a day and see what happens. I have hyperopia and farsightedness and hope for improvement, if anything, to avoid wearing thicker lenses in future. Fingers crossed, and nothing to lose really! My husband, a skeptic normally, was so impressed when he tried them that he took the second pair :)

I have tried these for a few weeks now and am amazed at how effective they are. I am quite short-sighted but can watch television perfectly well with these. When wearing the glasses everything does become quite dark, as you would expect. But I found I have got used to that. Initially I found they gave me slight double vision as well, but that also seems to have improved. I do find that they are very good when I am not moving about, such as watching TV, but not so good for if I'm moving about the house. At such a low price, they are definitely worth a try. (These ones don't come with a case - I noticed others online do have a case.)

These work a treat for me and I've tried them with friends and they seem to work, somehow, at any length. My eyesight isn't that bad (I'm 53, it's being going slowly over the last few years) so I don't really need my glasses most of the time. But it can be annoying when, for example, I look between my two PC screens. I need my glasses for the closer one, but not for the other, so I'm constantly looking over/under my glasses as I switch over. With the pinhole glasses, it's focused all the time, at all lengths. The downside is that it darkens everything (kinda like wearing sunglasses). But it's bearable and they're well handy for carrying around to the shops etc for reading labels. Losing or breaking these would cost me £2, losing/breaking my prescription glasses would be very costly. It does also seem to correct your vision, temporarily, after you take them off. I find that the length of time I wore them is just about exactly how much time my vision is 'fixed' afterwards. Wear these for an hour and my vision is good for an hour. Good for watching a film or something and then getting a bit of clarity for a while afterwards.

Tried these out over two day and had to give in. Effected my eyes bad, seems everyone is different, I got a blinding headache, which I never suffer from, on the second day and had to stop wearing them. It took a couple of days for my eyes to get back to normal again. I think the holes are far to small and the eyes can't focus properly through them. I'm no expert and I don't think the makers of these are too.

Wow!! I have worn prescription glasses for 32 years, eye sight worsened everytime I went 2 years, and pay 200 for mine. These are blinking incredible. Take a bit getting used to but by gum these I can see!! No blurry vision, its like having my glasses on. How do these work. Absolutely crazy but brilliant 👏

Unusual but helpful in some circumstances

These were for my Daughter as she is partially blind , she said they helped a little.

Li ho comprati, perchè non c'è più una promozione sempre con due occhiali stenopeici. Ma questi sono meglio perchè sono identici a quelli che usavo io. Gli altri erano uno così e uno tipo rayban, ma quest'ultimo aveva i fori meno fitti e non dava la visione come questi. Gli occhiali sono ripeto funzionali e di discreta qualità, i buchi alla distanza e dimensione giusta, per focalizzare vicino e lontano senza problemi. Fonadamentali due cose su questo tipo di occhiali: tolgono un po di vista laterale e quindi non sono consigliati in macchina o in moto, se il sole è basso si riflette la luce all'interno dei fori e quindi meglio toglierseli e tantomeno usarli per guidare. Per il resto sono meglio delle lenti che, come ti dicono ormai apertamente gli oculisti, ti abituano a quella focale, per cui quando non bastano devi cambiare le lenti con altre più potenti... e via così per il godimento di ottici e oculisti! L'unico difetto di questi occhiali funzionali ma economici è la qualità della plastica: è piuttosto rigida quindi facile da spaccarsi. Bisogna usarli e riporli con cura!

Pensavo fosse difficile vederci. Invece ci si vede benissimo, ma in una condizione con poca luce. Ottimi per guardare la tv e il cellulare

Fori delle lenti troppo distanti tra loro la messa a fuoco non e omogenea prodotto di scarsa qualità

Buchi troppo grandi, non sono efficaci come altri occhiali che ho provato, che però (giustamente) costano di più. Con questi si vede che il principio è efficace, ma dato che i buchi sono un po' più grandi del solito, si vede un po' male... come un alone. Però visto il costo così basso, vanno bene per fare una prova.
