Good stuff, might require bumper modification.
Great exhaust. Might require slight bumper modification to fit well. Installed on a 2003 civic ex (d17a2). I had bought a set of aftermarket "lx" headers for the engine, which fit well with this exhaust. I had to use a dremel to modify my bumper slightly to fit the exhaust tip. Only had to cut a small arch of about 1 inch of material. Other than that, installation was easy, and the exhaust sounds great. Very quiet at idle (almost stock levels of noise), but then really had a nice deep tone under power.

Amazing Purchase
This is by far the best purchase I've made for my car. The quality of this Cat-Back is A1, and the install couldn't be any easier. I've had mine on for a couple months now and it sounds awesome. This Cat-Back is by far the best system that I've had on my car yet, the others I've had were very cheap and were either rusted out or damaged within months. This Cat-Back is a bang for your buck. It also came with several pieces of merchandise so I can represent the Yonaka Brand!

The real reveiw READ ME, 01 Honda Civic ex coupe
So, this exhaust was both a curse, and a sin to install. Don't believe that "bolt on" crap, nothing ever really is. To begin with, the pipe itself is made of 4 lenghed pipes. The last, to the manifold, DOES NOT FIT AT ALL. I drive a 01 Honda Civic ex 1.7L, which it specifically says it fits, but it doesn't. From there I had to lob off the old curve off the downpipe, and do the same to the yonaka. then, I welded that part together. It's no worries, it's still 2.5 in the front stock, so you will have a full 2.5 through and through. At that point you simply bolt it up and it works. You will need to purchase a doughnut gasket yourself, as this kit doesn't come with one for the manifold. Also, stainless is a pro. Lastly, if you are able to do this, this exhaust sounds absolutely incredible. It is very deep, and all rasp is gone. Do note that the higher you rev, the higher pitch you will get. Also, on idle there is a deep rumble, and that's sounds phenomenal, whereas when driveing, there is no drone at all thanks to the high quality resonator. Pros Great shine Very deep, bass-y tone on idle Acceleration sounds great Not loud and annoying, so no rice 3/4 pipes bolted on no problem Weld jobs is nice Cnc'ed hardware Stainless steel 2.5" pipe all, 3.5" tip Comes with a shirt, lanyard, hat, and plate cover to rep their brand (size M) Cons Downpipe to manifold pipe doesn't fit at all Needs welding Welding joint were never cleaned, do so to not rust Lack of doughnut gasket, $6.99 @advanced auto Maybe a little close to the road, haven't scraped at all yet but still Tip is a little big, might need to angle grinder out a outline for the tip (3.5) Overall, it's an exhaust, expect work to be done. I did it myself, but I'm sure a shop will charge about 150-300 depending where you are for a install. Just be aware that a exhaust is a lot of work, but it will pay off, and will sound freaking amazing. P.s. sounds better then the magna flow, which inherently sounds super ricey

Great Sounding Exhaust
I love the sound and the exhaust tip making it look clean. The only negative is the resonator hangs low which makes the pipe low to the ground. I loosened all the exhaust bolts to readjust and it's still low.

Disappointed
Ordered this product for my 2001 civic ex and when installed on the car the fitment was poor and while shifting gears it would hit on the floorboard so I took the car back into the shop and removed the exhaust system. Contacted seller and customer service was even worse than the fitment of the exhaust. After many emails and a couple weeks of contacting seller trying to get this worked out I have gotten nowhere and would have had to spend about a third of the price of the product just to send it back to maybe receive a 50% refund because “ the exhaust was installed on the car”. Idk how else I would have found out it didn’t fit right but buy at your own risk. Not saying the company makes bad products but I’m just saying that the one I received was defective and the company wasn’t willing to offer me much support to correct the issue.

Best 7th gen civic exhaust you can buy.
Alright, I’ll start off by saying this is the best bang for your buck exhaust you can buy for a civic. The quality is top notch for the money. This is actually cheaper than from yonaka’s actual website. They want 350 for it on their website. I’d also add, the negative reviews are from imbeciles that don’t even know what type of engine they have, and aren’t aware that this comes with four pipes for both the NON-vtec D17A2 and the VTEC D17A2. The reason is, the non-vtec version has the catalytic converter built into the headers, while the VTEC version (01-05 civic EX only) has a completely different catalytic converter setup and is included in the Down pipe AFTER the headers. A quick look into your engine bay will tell you that right off the bat. You will either have to use ALL 4 pipes( non-vtec) or just 3 pipes(vtec). Now for the review, it looks amazing, polished, welds are beaded beautifully. The mandrel bends are smooth. The gaskets it comes with are quite cheap though, as well as the bolts. The only true downside I have with it, is after the bolts have been torqued, one of the downpipes actually touches the floor pan, causing an annoying vibration. I plan to get a 1 inch extension in between the bolt flanges this weekend and this should eliminate that problem. The sound is amazing, it almost reminds me of a flat four Subaru engine. It also looks very aggressive, from the rear the muffler sticks out from under the car and the tip isn’t too big for the size of the civic. All in all worth the money. My friend actually has a magnaflow and it sounds like an autozone exhaust compared to this yonaka.
