Blue Dahlia: In the Garden, Book 1

I am on my 4 th time reading this little series. This is my “feel good” selection and I couldn’t have picked a better one.

I love a book that makes me laugh and feel tender. Being a widow I could certainly relate to the characters here. Loved reading this for the second or third? Time. Nora knows how to spin a delightful story

This is one of my favorite Nora's. No I am not surprised who is going to get together, yes I know who is going to get together in the other books. It's the journey of how they get there that makes it exciting. I really like the ghost story in this. Not to much, but enough to bring the 3 books together.

Haven't read in a long time. Found this book and it is a great read. I have all 3 know.

I enjoy trilogies. I am moving in to book two. I love her books and will continue to read them. I have two favorite authors and she is one of them

I wished it was large print and also a hardcover…

I love Nora Roberts. Her characters are believable and readers can relate to them. I read this book years ago and it's as good and timely as it was back then.

The Blue Dahlia is the first of the "In the Garden" Trilogy. Stella is making dinner one evening and arguing with her boys waiting for her husband to come home from a business trip. She hears on the news that a commuter plane has gone down and there are no survivors. The husband she loves and the father of her children is gone forever and her whole life turns upside down.She moves back home with her father and stepmom in the hopes of starting over. Her stepmom introduces her to Rosalind Harper, the owner of Harper House and a decendent of Reginald Harper. Roz wants Stella and her boys to move into her home so she can get to know her better as she takes on the position of Manager of her new gardening nursery called In the Garden. As she is putting her children to bed that night and goes into the adjacent room to work on some paperwork, she hears someone singing to her children....when she goes back the room is icey cold but there is no one there.And so begins the mystery of the "Harper Bride".....I loved this book! The more I read the more interesting and indepth the characters got and the description of the Harper House was amazing! I had a hard time putting it down and couldn't wait to start the second in the series to find out what happened next.I highly recommend this book!

I love Nora Roberts books. I have them all on my kindle and read them all many times over. She is one of my all time favourite authors.

Will definitely be finishing the rest of the book in the series. Keeps you well engaged.

Loved it the story is beautiful and you can’t help but be immersed into it. Recommend to anyone can’t wait to read the next one.
