Perfect Replacement for OEM Power Steering Cap - Solved My Leak Issue
Pros: I needed a replacement power steering cap for my 1993 Ford Ranger 2.3L manual, as the grooves on my original OEM cap were worn and causing a leak. This Dorman cap was an exact fit and worked perfectly, solving the issue right away. Due to an engineering flaw I found if you move the rubber O ring from its position up to the top of the cap the cap will seal and stop leaking when you hit a bump in the road or when you are out 4x4ing

fit just right
when I first looked at this it stated that I will not fit my vehicle, but it fit just right! I have a 1999 explorer and I believed depending on your engine it'll have a different power steering pump. I call the auto parts and all they have is the screwed on type and for like 16$, I bought this part for less the 5$. it fits really well on the power steering pump, its a lot tighter than the original cap. only replaced because one of the locking tab was broken off. don't know how long its been that way and my fluid was low and I think it was leaking around the cap. its a good buy will buy again if I ever need another one my vehicle has 329000 on it. no need to spend to much money on it, however it keep goinngggg. well just have to see.
