Cheap junk that doesn't work as advertised
"Soundstream USA" what a crock of S. Another piece of Chinese junk designed to sell based on marketing rather than to actually function. The absolute minimum in quality of components and design invested in this thing. A decent picture quality but: -Instructions totally inadequate't -Comes with a generic remote that's not designed for this unit. Some things you need to do with the remote, some things you need to do with the buttons on the unit. -USB doesn't play .mp4 as advertised or any other format I've tried. I still haven't figured out what it wants. -multiple menu screens so unintuitive and hard to navigate that you'll spend forever trying to get what you want. -The FM transmitter has a lot of noise no matter which channel you choose -The IR transmitter is so weak it cuts my brand new headphones when more than 3 feet away. -On their website their Techincal support has an email address that bounces back "undeliverable" so you'll get no help trying to figure out how to work the thing.

We are an install shop and this item will not work! Its done not turn on.. out the box.. Warning do not buy your wasting money!!!!!

Don't buy this crap...complete waste of $$
Received my Soundstream VCM-160DMH 16" LCD High Resolution Ceiling Mount DVD Player, installed and put in there DVD received with device and DVD player keep saying disc error, then wouldn't eject DVD, turned off and tried to turn back on with no success, lights work nice? Now trying to get a hold of somebody from Amazon or company that sold it, no luck so far, everyone is using this Quarantine not to reply

Look elsewhere.
Looked great when it worked on day 1. Day 2, it died. Screen is gray with vertical lines. Let's see what the 90 day warranty covers...

ABSOLUTE TOTAL GARBAGE! CONSTANT ISSUES!
I have had FOUR different Soundstream systems installed into my van….ALL FOUR have been total JUNK!!! Soundstream is a junk manufacturer that creates junk products. Cheap, issue-ridden, garbage products! DO NOT BUT ANYTHING FROM SOUNDSTREAM! Every DVD screen system I have had in my Honda Odyssey has had issues and had to be replaced, even brand new systems straight outta the box! They are total trash! Stay away from them like the plague!!!! The DVD players skip all the stinkin time, and the audio sound output level is SO WEAK! Not to mention other issues these junk units have…
