I bought this to replace a gym bag that had lost a zipper, pockets I did not use and was hard to find items I had packed in it. I used this carry-on luggage for a direct flight from DFW airport to Mazatlan, Mexico and a direct flight back. My wife and I stayed in three hotels including our final destination where we stayed for a week. I did have a checked in bag as well. But with this carry-on I was able to pack my toiletry bag, three days of underwear, t-shirts, two extra shirts and an extra pair of pants (in case I went to a place where jeans were not acceptable) plus my camera with spare batteries, my tablet, charger for tablets and phones, cables, a small bag of if needed essentials with room to spare. One side of the case has a zippered cover. the other side has an X elastic band with a plastic device at the cross that does not move to keep the straps in place. I could not find a way to detach two adjacent straps to put folded clothes under the straps. But the rule of thumb I read somewhere for elastic is if you do not stretch it beyond something like 2/3 of its length except for very short periods of time, the elastic will last a long time. I do not stretch elastic more than 1/2 its length. So you can put a lot of folded clothes under the elastic. The only problem I had with the luggage was I would press down unintentionally on the button to collapse the handle. I thought it was a flaw until I realized what I was doing. After that I was more careful how I held the handle and had not problems during my vacation. When I got back home I went back to the page for this luggage for grins & giggles, and noticed there was and a combo of the luggage and some Silicone Wheel Covers. These are touted as being being quiet the the noise of our luggage as you roll your luggage along beside you or behind you and save your wheels from wear and tear and help you get over those joints you encounter anywhere and everywhere in a modern airport terminal or an elevator in a hotel/motel. The ones I am probably going to purchase are at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7HSBS5H. They are made of Silicone, are for 2-2.4" Spinner Wheels. They can be purchases in an 8 pack (enough for one luggage case with four dual spinner wheels) or a 16 pack (enough for two luggage cases). You can chose from seven colors. But do not limit YOUR choice to my choice. If you do not think my choice of wheel covers are what you want then search Amazon for "spinner luggage wheel covers" and make your decision. I am not an Influencer. I have never received any product to review. If I did receive a product to review I doubt I would review the product. Those companies that send out products require reviews within 14 days. I do not have time to totally test a product in 14 days. A really full review of most products takes at least 28 days because most products are not used every day.

I originally bought two of these for my kids. They are sturdy and the colors are super cute. Perfect size for carry on, even when expanded. And the wheels expand with it, so it does not fall to one side when expanded (like my old luggage). I particularly appreciate that the wheel base expands when the luggage is expanded. The extendable side is under the zipped lining, so it keeps the clothes in. I find the elastic band with the buckle a bit too stretchy and it does not really hold the items in place when opening the luggage, but just being careful to open the luggage with that side down does the trick to keep everything in place. I also put the larger items on that side and placed a large towel on top to ensure everything on that side stayed in regardless. It’s a bit of a hazle, but can’t complain considering I paid about $35 for this luggage. I like the squareness of the design: it fits a lot of clothes and shoes easily and is spacious inside. The handle rails do not take a lot of space internally, so it’s easy to pack items without them interfering too much (another challenge I had with my old luggage). The hard side kept everything protected and did not get stained even after having to check the bags gate-side and pickup at baggage claim. I think the fact that the luggage was comfortably full helped, but I was pleasantly surprised that the hard case was not stained, dirty, cracked, or damaged after that. I love the colors! So I ordered 3 of these. The last one came with a torn stitch which caused the lining and stretch buckle to be loose on one side (see pictures). Thankfully, I was going to use it right away, so I unboxed it right away. Too bad that this caused me to have to travel with my old luggage (which is having trouble with the handle retracting.). But, I was able to return it to Amazon, so no issues.overall, I’m really happy with this purchase, and my daughters love their luggage! One thing I noticed is that these hard case suitcases are not very forgiving when unevenly full and become really hard to zip, but moving things around inside did the trick. I was a bit apprehensive about packing too much in and whether the lining and sticking was going to hold, but was pleasantly surprised after our first international trip with these. The wheels and handles worked well and smoothly, making it easy to maneuver around the airport. I like the rubber pads on the side, which keep the luggage from cratching essily. Overall, great value for the money!

I had this suitcase for over 3 years, as a college student. No matter how much I packed in it, I was able to close it without the extender. I never had a problem at all, and the quality was awesome! This is great for overpackers and students traveling back and forth often.

Great carry on!! Durable.. my son checked the bag at the airport. “For free!” And I was so worried it wouldn’t hold up! It has traveled to Canada and back three times and is still in great condition! I was apprehensive ordering through Amazon as to the quality! I am amazed!! It holds a wood amount of clothes as well!

Very nice design, elegant and lightweight. Rolls smoothly and the matching accessories are useful. The material could be a bit more durable, but for the price it’s an excellent purchase. Recommended.
