Looked around for a non-battery operated combination lock gun case. This is just as reliable & efficient as some that list for way over $100. It has relatively fewer combinations possible than many, since you cannot choose one that uses any number (1-5) twice. But for quick, secured, reliable access (eg, bedside) it can't be beat.

Sturdy feeling box. Nice rugged exterior with a good amount of space inside. I didn’t pay attention to the size so it’s too small for my .40 cal glock double stack. But if I got the right size then this would be a perfect little travel lockbox.
