Where's the suspense?
Some really good creepy visuals but the only problem is the execution of the suspense leading up to them. It really lacks the uncomfortable build ups to the spooky reveals. I did appreciate that the movie didn't rely on cheap jumpscares but unfortunately when there's no suspense either it just makes a horror film not scary at all. It really needed to take notes from The Conjuring 1 & 2 on how to deal with and earn scares. Oh well, it was still entertaining.

Good night's entertainment if you like the other Conjuring Movies
Difficult to beat Conjuring 1 and 2 which I consider are two of the best horror/supernatural based movies made in the last 30 years or more. Slow build up but when it gets up and running it's decent enough and you know what to expect if you like this type of movie. Does not have to rely on blood and guts like many these days. Even though I have watched Michael Myers, Freddie and Jason and upteen Zombie movies over the years you still cannot beat a good jump or two. Definitely recommend.

This one had some pretty good “boo“ moments and a pretty good storyline. It’s nice to have a movie that is a good ghost story without the need for serial killers and mutilations.
