Complete Canterbury Tales: Slip-cased Edition Hardcover – September 1, 2013

I was so impressed by the look of this book. I love The Canterbury Tales. My favorite when I was a teen. I used to memorize these. Chaucer is one of my favorite authors.

I've been a fan of the Canterbury Tales since high school. This book is a nice addition to my collection of classic books.

Beautiful copy of this book. It was worth the money I spent.

Really enjoyed reading the Canterbury Tales once again and this translation is great. Got to give this edition 5 stars for the complete content and layout but wish the print was a tad bigger for these old eyes of mine.

Neat pretty book. A well written translation in modern English, love the little bit of Chaucer English with the illustrations.

great translation, I can finally read the stories without consulting the dictionary every 5 seconds. It also has some beautiful illustrations and a short introduction to every story.

I found the story's remarkably relevant to my surprise, I highly recommend it, although i will advise you to read it over a couple of days rather than one sitting to absorb it all and enjoy it all the more.best

Large book. Printed hardback with same print on dust jacket. At a glance looks fine. Contents pages indicate all the stories are present.. there is a little background history...all appears to be written in prose-couple of columns to each page.. some black and white plates of earlier illustrations/text of the story... Im pleased with my purchase, very good price - now I just need time to savour reading it.

A must have book.
