Dog Bark Collar, Anti Barking Collar with 7 Adjustable Levels, Beep Vibration and Harmless Shock, Smart Correction, Shock Collar for Large Dog

I was crossing my fingers that the two collars I ordered would work. This is a four-Corgi household, and two of them bark a lot. One barks just to bark. So, when a neighbor (nicely and rightfully) complained, I did a lot of research and selected this brand. It took less than a day for Abe and Emmy to catch on once the collars were on them. Ah, "the sounds of silence"! It's a quality, sturdy product and being able to recharge it rather than buying batteries was a big plus for me. Two observations I'd like to share: (1) one reviewer remarked that the unit was too big for her small dog. Emmy is petite and 22 pounds, and the unit is a bit overwhelming on her neck, too. (2) The unit went off once when Abe shook his head, and once when another dog standing near him barked. Changing the sensitivity eliminated the unit going off when he shakes his head, but not when a nearby dog barks. All in all, this was money well spent!

Our baby, like all human babies, is a mess. Especially when he eats. And the delicious erupting food volcano that is the baby’s highchair is irresistible to our adorable lab. We have been trying to train our dog to stay out of the dining room in our house (where the baby eats) with limited success. The food is simply more motivating for him than our yelling. We needed to up our game, and so we brought in this bad boy. We’ve found this shock collar to be an effective training tool, but as with all training the key is consistency. My wife and I take turns keeping an eye out to ensure that every time he is sneaking into the dining room he is greeted with the same beep, vibrate, shock sequence. He quickly learned to bolt at the first beep and I think with a few more weeks of training we will have him into shape.User Experience: 9/10This product works great. The adjustment levels are more than enough and there are tons of features. I only have a couple minor complaints. First, sometimes it takes a second or two for it to snap out of sleep mode. In those moments when your dog is doing the wrong thing and you want to correct them *now* it seems like you are waiting forever for the collar to respond to your button presses. But it really only takes about a second. My other minor complaint is that changing the channel on the remote will make it stop working, and it is easy to do if you press that channel button by accident. This has only happened once but it took me a minute to figure out why it suddenly wasn’t working, and those were very important minutes!Build Quality: 8/10The collar itself seems solid, but the remote is thinner/lighter than I expected and made of hard plastic. This hasn’t proven to be an issue in use, and the lightness and clip on the back make it very easy to carry on the outside of my pocket all day. I barely notice it is there. Battery life has been great for us, but we let it charge every night to keep the battery topped up and to give our dog’s neck a rest. I appreciated the inclusion of the lightbulb shock tester, which lets you check that the shock is working without shocking yourself, but I love my dog and wanted to know what he would feel so I shocked myself anyways (ouch!).Overall this product has been a good value and has proven to be a valuable training tool!

Returned.I really liked the visible light on the transmitter and the flashlight option on the remote. I also like the distinct/audible alert noise. (Much diff than his previous collar). Cons: the fabric collar wouldn’t stay tight, delayed response from remote to transmission-as it would ‘go to sleep quickly’. Most times we’d have to ‘wake’ it up, and the shock option never seemed to affect him. I know it was sending a signal, but no response from him while on walks. He is leash reactive and once he has his mind set....he will grumble/bark/pull like there’s no tomorrow. After many attempts at different settings, it just wasn’t worth it to keep it. If your pup is less stubborn, it will prob work well. Our guy is 104 lb of almost 2yr old energy.

I was surprised at the quality and technology in this dog bark collar. It has easy to use directions and easy to identify and change the settings on the collar. I have four barkers and this is the third collar I’ve purchased and I am very pleased. It’s the right size and I have only used the vibrate setting and it Works! So far so good. Another thing I like is the recharge ability – no more batteries!

Only put this on my pup a few times before she stopped barking outside at my neighbors' dogs. Now I don't even need to put it on her and she stays quiet.

This collar does keep my dog from barking. It terrifies her! I have a chocolate lab and she used to be the only dog in the neighborhood other than our other dog. Then they started building houses and everyone in the neighborhood has dogs. So now all of a sudden she sees dogs everywhere and thinks she needs to bark all the time. I decided to try this collar. After the first day I thought it was working. We went out to play with her because we noticed she seemed to be pouting and it only took a minute to see why. Every time she moved her head she got shocked!! I turned down the sensitivity and after playing around with all of the levels it either shocks her every time she moves or it does nothing at all. It was a complete waste of money!! I'm not going to have my dog terrified to move. When she saw me coming with that thing she just whimpered and cowered down. Do not waste your money. If you're browsing, keep looking!

I tried with a petsafe model much more expensive with no results. This one worked on the 1st day and I love that I can set the levels based on the observed effects.UPDATEStill love the item but it completely died on me within 2 months. I'm quite disappointed.UPDATETurns out that through a loophole (and excellent customer service from Amazon) I was refunded and purchased a new one. So far I'm delighted again and hoping this one will last.

Definitivamente mi mascota esta mas callada, cuando antes se exaltaba con los patinadores que pasaban o cualquier tipo de perro. Aún suelta ladridos pero el sensor permite que sólo llegue a hacer uno o dos máximo y mi perrita por si sola esta regulando su manera de ladrar ya que me imagino no le gusta ni la vibracion, ni el sonido que llega a hacer el collar. He comprado 2 collares antes que yo activaba con un control remoto pero no es efectivo ya que cuando se queda sola practicamente hace lo que quiere y la corrección del comportamiento no es constante. En cambio con este collar sí, a cualquier hora que haga el comportamiento se activará. Me encanta la idea de que la carga dura un buen! Otros collares tenia que cargarlos cada 3 días aprox. El hecho que se ajusta la sensibilidad en cada efecto es maravilloso. Con mi perrita no llega a los shocks porque desde que escucha el beep se calma.

Muy buen funcionamiento y muy fácil de usar, pero me tardó mucho en llegar.

This collar has been awesome! My 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy would run up the side of the house playing with our other dog and bark loudly at around 5:30am everyday, waking up our 2yr old son.I only had to set the collar to ‘M’ vibrate with 0 shock and the results were instant! Django (the puppy) doesn’t mind the collar and hasn’t tried to get it off at all. Highly recommend :)

Resulto mejor de lo que había pensado. Habìa comprado un collar de otra marca antes, pero ese no duro nada. Este, en cambio, es mucho más resistente, la correa se ajusta mejor y no se le resbala alrededor del cuello. Además no es necesario que el perro lo utilice por mucho tiempo; con usarlo por periodos cortos y en ocasiones especificas mi perro le ha bajado a la frecuencia con la que ladraba. Solo lo he probado en vibración media y con eso ha sido suficiente.
