Sturdy in look and weight so instructions were simple enough but I thought I had a defective locks but I looked into support for this item under problem changing combo and it gave a little more detail like the fact that you need to push in and keep pressure while chznging to your own combo just that little detail missing in original instructions made difference so it took no time at all to get it done then as suggested I made sure it worked a couple times before putting it where I needed now I feel more secure with the locks one my gates side snd front fences from intruders I’m hoping they last long thru weatherBut do far I’m happy with how they are working for me also the shackle length is great length and thickness is jest what I needed my son did my install the latch very well so it didn’t close all the way through making the space for a lock harder since most locks are thick this one is thinner but sturdy in those shackle

This lock is perfect for the gate to my fence that the dogs get to run in. It makes my life easier if I’m in the backyard. I don’t have to have the keys for the other lock. I can just remember the combination.

Great lock for most purposes to deter. Re: locking force is only on tumbler side. Also difficult to use on tall gates as access to eyesight on #codes. Short gate is ok as you can reach over to unlock.

These are super easy to use and feel very sturdy. I wish they were a little further in the lock itself to feel more secure but these will definitely get the job done well enough.

It is easy to use and the long shackle makes it easier to see the numbers when you are trying to open the lock.

5 stars so far.Setup for passcode pretty easy, I bought two for both gate doors on my vinyl fence. Will see how well it does from outdoor use.

I'm always too lazy to write reviews, but it's imperative that I tell you my unfortunate experience. After setting the combination, everything became really tight and it was no longer possible to operate the lock.**update** I should divulge the fact that the seller refunded my money (and I didn't even bug them to do so). That act was very commendable and appreciated.

So I purchased these for my delivery dropbox and I am so happy it came in a pack of two because I followed the instructions of setting up my lock code but somehow lock the first lock and when I call customer service they have no way of helping me resetting it so I could try again. Second time around it worked fine so I don’t know if I have a faulty lock, but be very careful. These things are very durable. They’re not something you can just crack into which I completely love and they aren’t too heavy where you can’t get the box open.
