Sturdy, Powered USB Hub with Smart Controls
This SABRENT 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a great utility upgrade. It arrived on time, worked immediately, and includes a wall power adapter—which is a big plus for powering multiple devices without overloading your computer. Each port has its own illuminated power switch, letting me control devices individually without unplugging them. Transfer speeds are fast, and the build quality feels solid for the price. No software needed—just plug it in and go. What other customers should know: Includes a wall power adapter, so it can handle power-hungry devices like external drives or webcams Individual power switches help manage power and clutter Compact design, good for both desktops and laptops Short USB host cable—consider an extension if your computer isn’t close A no-frills tool that does its job well. Highly recommended for anyone looking to manage USB connections more easily.

Works well and very convenient
Works well. I have three devices (DVD player/burner, Blu-ray player/burner, and external HDD) and got tired of plugging and unplugging them. This switched hub makes it very easy. I did time a file transfer with the external HDD both plugged directly into the laptop and through the hub and didn't see any appreciable difference.

I have Wifi on my 40 feet of USB cable again!
My wifi travels from the house's router, to a second mesh router, across the yard (about 50-75 feet) to my wifi dongle, through one 20ft USB cable, into this powered USB hub, through a second 20ft USB cable, and into my bedroom laptop in my auxiliary building. It works! It's alive!! For MONTHS now I've been throwing money at this problem where I could get internet in the living room, but not the bedroom, which worked before, then stopped working at the same time I bought my new laptop. Which of course made me wonder if it had to do with my new laptop. But the PROBLEM all along was that my wifi extender and the router at the house were both old and sending such a weak signal that it couldn't travel down the second USB cable, even with the powered USB hub, so when I first bought this item I was annoyed because I thought I'd spent more money that didn't fix my problem. (I had already bought a second USB cable, thinking it was the cable, and a new wifi dongle, thinking it was the dongle.) But then our internet company installed a new router, and a second router to create a mesh network, and the signal is finally strong enough to travel down the second USB cable again. I guess I should have worked from the front end of the problem back, rather than back to front. DUH! lol... Anyway this handy little powered USB hub makes sure the signal stays strong, it's like a little accelerator for my wifi signal! My only possible complaint is that the part that plugs into the device from the house power seems to stop and not go fully in, but it obviously IS fully in because the unit has power. So it may just be my expectation that came up short. If you've had an internet problem like I have, this powered USB hub may help you. If it doesn't, consider that your router or wifi extender may be sending a signal too weak to travel across your wires, even with the powered USB hub. Strong equipment won't help if the signal is weak to begin with.

Nice little Hub
So far this little Hub is working well. I have it connected to my PC via a 10 foot USB extension cable to run a small sim racing setup. Running a Keyboard, Mouse, Moza R5 Wheel Hub, and HShifter.

Works perfectly consistently
Tried several others and they would lose connection frequently. This one's been a big fix.

The SABRENT 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub is the unexpected hero of my desk. Plugged it in, hit the little LED switches, and boom my camera stopped flickering like it was trying to send Morse code. Even better, it teams up perfectly with the LINDY 43271 5 m USB‑C to A active extension, like a techy buddy‑cop duo that actually gets the job done. No dropouts, no drama, just smooth sailing. If your webcam is having a meltdown, this hub might just be the therapist it needs.

Fonctionne parfaitement, utilisé pour connecter un SSD SATA en USB, en même temps qu'un clavier midi Arturia Keystep (lui même alimenté par le hub) sur ma MPC One +.
