Donna Dewberry's Essential One-Stroke Painting Reference Paperback – March 2, 2009

Wonderful and informative

I am trying to learn Donna Dewberry’s one-stoke painting method. I found these books very useful to learn and practice the skill.

Product came in great condition and on time. I'm very satisfied and very likely order more from this seller. The book is truly a great book and full of designs and ideas.They're very easy to imply. I've already used some of them and it looks just like the picture in the book.

Easy to follow.

I bought it as a present for my mother, and she was delighted. Although she has been painting for several years she had never tried one-stroke before, and this book is the prefect introduction to this technique. It explains all the basic stuff, how to use the brushes, mix the colours, etc. However, I should also say that, if you are an absolute beginner and you have never painted before you will probalby find this book a bit "advanced". My advice: If you have already painted before and you want to start one-stroke, this is the book for you. If you have never painted, try another book. Perhaps one of Donna Dewberry's beginners guide will be the best option for you.

This is much much much harder than it looks. I am a decent painter of landscapes. I paint similar to Bob Ross n Thomas kinkade. I want to learn to paint flowers that are more precise and thought this technique would be perfect for me but I can't do it. My flowers and leaves look nothing like Donna's. I'd like to think practice is all I need but I think I need a miracle.

I pretty much love anything by Donna Dewberry. So many great ideas for painting projects. As with all her books, I wish there were more photos of actual brush strokes. I feel that most of the time, I have to read between the lines to figure the stroke out for myself. Great reference book.

This book is absolutely awesome! It show all the stokes needed to do one-stroke painting and proceeds to show you how to paint several things! I do wish some of the stokes shown were on the same page as the flower that she is demonstrating that way I don't have to flip back and forth, but that is a minor inconvenience when you see what this book offers. Another great book by Donna Dewberry!

Lovely book. I am using it for learning to paint following the Donna Dewberry one stroke method. Happily I am completely satisfied.

Ce livre est composé de fiches techniques pour réaliser les fleurs, feuilles et arbres présentés en one stroke. Il est riche et clair, quoique parfois une vidéo internet est utile pour saisir le mouvement précis à faire avec le pinceau, ce que les photos ne peuvent pas montrer.
