Fits prefectly in new Skoda Karoq which has two side by side USB-C ports under a sliding cover. I wanted a compact USB drive (e.g. a Sandisk Ultra Fit) with all my music on, but not getting in the way. The L shape of this adapter means it fits neatly and unobtrusively under the sliding cover. Car instantly recognised this as a valid media source.

Seems like a good idea but the angled configuration does an excellent job of blocking other ports.

My new car comes with a USB type C socket adjacent to the rear view mirror that can be used to power a dash cam using a two-ended type C male lead. However the type C system, being completely reversible ends up supplying twice the power when charging, great for the current 'fast charge' smartphones but no good for other things that cannot cope with the extra power. The USB type A only works one way so therefore supplies less power. Using a type A male lead to type C male lead solved my problem & being angle made for a neat & tidy installation.
