Got this for my 10 Yr old boy for Christmas. He was able to get used to the controls very quickly. Quick demo and he was away and I’d say pretty competent in less than and Hr of flying time. It’s better quality than most of the cheaper chineseum “toy” drones on offer and has some good features such as the ability to trim, flips, spins and three control rate settings. Trim works reasonably well but it still has a tendency to drift ever so slightly if you’re trying to get a perfect stationary hover. It’s best used indoors only as it will drift with wind and I’m not sure how well the signal will cope with bright sunlight and or longer distances. It’s also small (about size of the palm of an adult hand) so would be easy to get disoriented by the time you flew it any distance anyway. It’s robust in that it’s still working fine after a month of use (and some misuse!) at the hands of my 10yr old. There’s no camera which is good for our use area and honestly are mostly terrible on the smaller, cheaper starter drones anyway. It comes with three small Lipo batteries for the drone that can be swapped out for continuous flight time if required. They charge quickly with supplied usb dongle (charges two batteries concurrently). You do need to provide your own AA batteries for the controller (3 if I remember correctly). Main Lipo battery is fiddly to change as I think was reported before but is more of an inconvenience than a major issue. Overall 9/10 for what it is, it does what it’s meant to and does it pretty well. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one again.

Absolutely brilliant buy for the price. Tons of fun with the kids since Christmas... In fact I think I've used the drone twice as much as the kids. It's relatively easy to control after a couple of attempts and the battery lasts for a decent length with 2 further batteries to rotate between charges. Love it and the kids love it.

It can hover in the air, but the power management needs some improvement. You can shut it down with the remote control (aircraft plus controller), but it cannot be woken up with the remote control when it is turned on. You need to plug and unplug the battery. Easy to use and reasonable price

Battery charging first time 5-10 mins, charging from zero to full cca 40-45 mins. Controller battery compartment with screw, bit uncomfortable but holds nicely of course. Few minutes continuous indoor fly per battery, low battery blinking OK, although there’s no chance you can see it outdoor. The controller doesn’t beep to warn low battery or I couldn't find how to set it. Tends to slightly drift sideways or upwards, needs adjusting as per the manual and that helps a lot. Very lightweight so be aware of the wind or you have to knock on the neighbour’s door to collect it from their garden, as it happened to me. When flying in big open spaces, it’s very handy to have a child around to collect it after landing. The other experience is that the emergency landing function is very useful and works in quite a distance. If the wind takes it away and the power is not enough to move against the wind, it’s useful to have an alternative plan for not losing the drone. When it's calm and quiet, it flies really smoothly. The overall experience is that it’s fun to fly this little drone. Since no automation included, you must control everything, a great tool for learning. If you can fly this, you can fly anything. From about 8 years of age, a child can easily operate it and you don't have to worry of losing it. Great value for money.

I bought 2. One was working, the other was not. Seems the producer doesn't really care about the quality control before selling it. However, the one working is actually very cool

The HS210 drone is definitely worth all 5 stars I am very impressed with it and Holy Stone as a company, I can safely say that I believe this is the best mini/micro drone available. Initial thoughts: I was very impressed with the packaging I have inserted some pictures of what the HS210 comes with, the 3 batteries they provide in contrast to other drones offering 1 is very good as typically with these drones the battery runs out quickly so you find that you spend a lot of time charging the battery however, the fun keeps going with this drone! Flying: This drone has 3 different speeds the slowest of which is great to get used to flying drones for any beginner and I'd only recommend to fly this speed indoors and a gust of wind can easily shake it about. I accidentally got too close to the curtains at one point but the propeller guards stopped the drone from crashing and I was able to keep flying. After flying it indoors I took it outside for a little test as I believe it is still possible for mini drones like these to fly about outside even with some light winds, Using the second and third speed options allowed me to have full control of the drone it was even able to go against a few gusts of wind. Final thoughts: This little drone is amazing for the price listed, it comes with 3 batteries, 2 chargers, a spare set of propellers and a tool to take off the propellers. I fully recommend it for anyone from beginner to advanced as it is a fun little drone anybody will enjoy. The drone seemed pretty good, we had fun playing with it while the first 3 batteries lasted, but then we plugged them into the charger to charge. They charged and then I spent the last 30 minutes trying to get them to disconnect from the charger with no success. I tried needlenose pliers, everything. If I continue I will just break the connector, the pliers are gripping so hard they are crushing it. There are no tabs anywhere to release the battery or anything. Pity, my son will be very disappointed when I tell him in the morning.

Great! My 6 year old loves it, and it's very robust! Still going strong after quite a few crash landings-:)

Diese kleine (ca. 8,5x8,5 cm) und nur 25 g "schwere" Drohne ist ideal für Anfänger geeignet um das Fliegen mit einer Drohne zu lernen: Sie hält die Höhe stabil und lässt sich nach kurzem Üben sehr gut beherrschen da sie in der Grundeinstellung "Low" (nach dem Einschalten) auch bei Vollausschlag der Steuerknüppel nur relativ langsam fliegt. Sobald man den Bogen raushat, kann man die Geschwindigkeit auf "Medium" oder "High" stellen - dann ist sie durchaus flott unterwegs so dass es indoor schnell zu eng wird. Outdoor kommt sie allerdings auch bei nur wenig Wind schnell an ihre Grenzen; bei Windstille macht es jedoch grossen Spass, mit dem kleinen Teil durch die Gegend zu sausen. Die deutsche(!) Bedienungsanleitung erklärt alles wesentliche gut verständlich. Ein netter Gag sind die eingebauten Akrobatikmodi: Überschläge zur Seite, nach vorne oder hinten (Flips) gelingen mit zwei Knopfdrücken und faszinieren sicherlich die Zuschauer. Ausserdem kann sich die Drohne per Knopfdruck schnell um die Hochachse drehen oder automatisch Kreise fliegen. Der "Kopflos" (Headless) Modus vereinfacht zwar die Orientierung da die Drohne dann alle Seitwärtsbewegungen relativ zum Piloten ausführt - ich würde die Verwendung allerdings nicht empfehlen wenn man das Drohnenfliegen "richtig" lernen möchte. Wenn die Drohne mit einem Hindernis kollidiert führt das meist zum Absturz. Dann ist es sinnvoll, möglichst schnell den Not-Aus zu betätigen (beide Tasten oben an der Fernbedienung gleichzeitig drücken) um weiteres Unheil zu vermeiden. Die Flugzeit mit dem winzigen Akku ist erstaunlich lang (ca. 7 Minuten). Leider wird die Akkuwarnung (LEDs an der Drohne blinken) schon lange vorher aktiv. Geht die Akkuladung dann wirklich zur Neige fällt die Drohne nicht einfach runter sondern landet relativ sanft (und lässt sich dabei auch noch steuern!). Da drei Akkus mitgeliefert werden kann es danach sofort weitergehen. Geladen werden die Akkus mit dem beigefügten Ladegerät an einem USB-Anschluss z.B. einer Powerbank. Es können zwei Akkus gleichzeitig geladen werden. Diese Drohne ist KEIN reines Spielzeug. Die Anleitung empfiehlt ein Mindestalter von 14 Jahren. Unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen sind nach etwas Übung aber wohl auch jüngere Kinder in der Lage, die Drohne sicher zu beherrschen. Unabhängig davon müssen die gesetzlichen Regelungen zum Drohnenflug natürlich beachtet werden!

Den var mycket mindre än vad den var i videon vi såg. Men, den är otroligt uppskattad. Och såhär i efterhand är det ganska skönt att den är liten då den flygs mycket inomhus.

Die Holy Stone HS210 Mini Drohne macht wirklich viel Freude und sorgt bei meinem Kind für strahlende Gesichter. Die Steuerung ist intuitiv und der kleine Quadrocopter hält sich dank seiner stabilen Fluglage erstaunlich gut in der Luft. Besonders überzeugend ist die Ausdauer der Akkus, die für ihr kompaktes Format ausreichend lange Flugzeiten ermöglichen. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist jedoch der Akkuwechsel. Das Ein- und Ausbauen der kleinen Batterien erfordert ein wenig Geschick und kann im Eifer des Gefechts etwas fummelig werden. Sobald man den Dreh aber raus hat, ist es weniger ein Problem. Insgesamt ist die HS210 eine tolle Mini Drohne, die Kindern (und auch Erwachsenen) viel Spaß bereitet. Für das Geld bekommt man hier richtig viel geboten. Die Drohne ist klein und leicht, dadurch ist sie sehr unempfindlich bei Stürzen und Kollisionen. Auf der anderen Seite kann sie durch den Propeller-Schutz auch nichts ernsthaft beschädigen. Sie hat 3 Geschwindigkeitsstufen, in der dritten Stufe flitzt sie schon ganz flink um die Ecken. Allerdings ist der Flug-Controller bei den schnellen Turns schnell überfordert Sie hält die Höhe weitestgehend automatisch, steht aber nicht exakt auf der Stelle. Ein bisschen Zugluft bringt sie aber schon aus der Position. Auf Knopfdruck kann sie auch kleine Kunststückchen. Ich selbst fliege kleine fpv-Drohnen, die wesentlich schneller und agiler sind und habe mit dem Teil trotzdem Spaß 😄 Ich habe mir bei Amazon noch ein 6er Set Akkus mit Mehrfach-Lader bestellt, damit hat man schon eine ordentliche Flugzeit und kann permanent nachladen. bei einem der mitgelieferten Akkus ist leider beim herausziehen direkt der Stecker abgerissen. Kleiner Tipp, wenn sie Drohne wegen der Akkuwarnung anfängt zu blinken, kann man durchaus noch eine Weile fliegen. Sie hat einen Schutz gegen Tiefen-Entladung, so dass die Akkuspannung nicht unter die kritische Marke fallt
