ICECO VL60 Dual Zone Portable Refrigerator with SECOP Compressor, 60 Liters Platinum Compact Refrigerator, DC 12/24V, AC 110-240V, 0℉ to 50℉, Home & Car Use (with Insulated Cover)

This is our second Iceco VL60. Our experience with them came pre-installed in our off-road camper which we have have had good history with for over 2 years. This new frig was installed in our tow vehicle for when we aren't towing the camper and chilling in the RTT. Easy to use features. Durable metal construction. Cools down fast after turning it on. Low energy consumption when running on 12 volts. Used for 3 days after received for a trip and it functioned flawlessly.

I received the Iceco quickly and it appeared to be in good condition. After letting it sit for 24 hours, I plugged it in to the wall to let it cool down. Unfortunately, cool never came. I tried AC power, I tried DC power. I tried resetting cool settings. It just didn’t work. I contacted Amazon and they said I could return for a refund. I contacted Iceco and explained the problem. I got a very prompt response asking for a bit of additional information. The next message from them said a new one was on the way. The new one arrived in a few days and works perfectly. Lots of folks on here have questioned Iceco customer service but for me it was above excellent. Stuff sometimes doesn’t work and a great company makes it right. Now for the unit. Lots of reviews here already about it. It is fantastic. I love the 2 zone ability having a freezer and refrigerator in one. So, I plug it into the AC power before a trip to cool it. It is at temperature in less than an hour. I find it important to pre cool the contents before putting in the Iceco. It struggles to chill a bunch of room temperature beverages (which you would expect). I load the Iceco in the truck and plug in via DC cigarette lighter. It works great while on the road. Once i arrive at my destination, I’ll unplug from the truck and plug into Jackery 500. With one side on freezer (smaller side) and the other on refrigerator….I can get at least 48 hours on the Jackery. It is a game changer for me. No more ice. It’s really great. My one knock on this (and it is me not the unit) is that it’s BIG! I really don’t need a refrigerator this big. I chose the size based on normal cooler use, but you can get by with much smaller fridge than cooler. If you’ve been considering one of these. Get one! You will not be disappointed.

This fridge was EXCELLENT for a road trip out to the western U.S - We put it in the back of our 4runner on a custom built slide, attached to a jackery 500 battery. This thing SIPS energy on the 12v setting. We connected the jackery to the vehicle cigarette adapter and the fridge to the battery so that it would run off the battery while the vehicle was off. Never had a problem or hiccup with power - food stayed cold, and the freezer worked perfectly. We often parked in a shady area, but it was still hot outside -- the fridge ran cool. We stored the fridge for a year in between trips, and it lost functionality. Contacted ICECO - their customer service handled it quickly and provided an immediate fix. Couldn't be happier with the unit or the customer service. Stuff happens. It is nice having the confidence in knowing that when it does -- the company backs their product.

Five stars hands down. Shockingly the best appliance purchase I’ve ever made. Bought this unit as a backup fridge/freezer unit at the start of Covid—when it was hard to find such a thing. Loved the fact that it could run on 12volt for those sw Florida hurricane events. The unit ran flawlessly for five years—quite as can be, never fluctuating. When it lost its refrigerant charge Iceco walked us through a number of tests, and much to our surprise, replaced it—including a call tag to remove the old one. I cannot say enough about this kind of support in a day when most companies leave you hanging! Thanks, Iceco!

Long story short, it took me leaving a 1-star review to get the assistance I needed. Finally got my 3rd replacement in the mail and it works flawlessly. The manufacturing issue was resolved. Absolutely love the cooler, it’s been a game changer in our sprinter van. Gone are the days of soggy food from melted ice. Would’ve been an easy 5 stars had it not been so difficult to get my problems sorted. The manufacturing defect was a non-issue for me as the first replacement arrived quickly. It was also faulty. It wasn’t until I needed a 3rd unit that I got radio silence and was basically sent in a circle of “we’ll be in contact” until my 1-star finally got their attention. To their credit, they were great in working around my summer van travels in making sure they all arrived when I was home. Everyone was very friendly and I still recommend them to anyone that sees my cooler. 5 star product, but they get 4 because they kinda dropped the ball at the end.

Kick butt portable fridge/freezer unit. MUCH better at maintaining temps than "dorm" fridges. The 12v input allows it to work out of a vehicle or with a portable solar array for long trips or camping. 60Liters might be more than you need, there are different sized units available.

I have been using this cooler daily for almost 2 years now in my mini-van. It handles great as a mini-fridge for drinks and overflow, keeps groceries cold from the store, and is perfect for long road trips. I have had one issue that was my fault. On a road trip I had blocked the vent fan on the lower right side of the cooler and it shut down giving me an error code on the screen. I soon figured out it, moved a box out of the vent path and it started right back up. But to me that's a great thing, it means it won't self-destruct when it starts to overheat. It also switches between 120v house power to 12v in the car instantly without missing a beat. Yeah I like that it cools and has plenty of room and dual zones... but overall what I really appreciate is that I feel like it is well thought out, well built, and my wife and I love it and hope for many more years with it!

I bought this fridge/freezer a few years ago for a van conversion I was working on for myself. I am extremely happy with this product and it has been in use every day since then. I wanted a good solid dependable unit and that's exactly what I got. I I mounted it on locking drawer slides in my kitchen cabinets to maximize cooking and counter top space so nothing has to move out of the way to access it. This unit has been as far north, west and east in Canada as possible with no problem and I have never had any spoilage due to it always keeping within a couple of degrees of set temperature no matter how hot the weather, it has functioned very well from minus 30C to plus 44C. I highly recommend this unit and would not hesitate to buy another one in the future should I do another van conversion.

La glacière vient avec la housse thermique ne vous faites pas prendre moi j'avais commandé la housse mais le service client est rapide et courtois ils l'ont repris et mon rembourser. Bon achat

This is a great product! And the ICECO company has an excellent customer service! I bought this fridge freeze on Amazon! They shipped my package! But that package never arrived! So I explained to them that it never arrived! They sent me another one, which did arrive! All good working order! Kudos to ICECO! Thanks for your great service! I give them 10 stars ⭐️

I use this in my apartment for extra food. I like the fact it can be all freezer or fridge and half fridge and half freezer any side you like it to be. Also can't wait to take this camping this is a game changer. AWESOME PRODUCT
