I was originally looking to replace just the dinner knives from my cutlery set (thanks to the mysterious disappearing knife phenomenon…), and normally I’d go straight to IKEA for things like this. But they didn’t have a set of just knives in stock, so I took a chance on these — and I’m honestly so glad I did. These knives are great value for money. They feel really sturdy and well-balanced in the hand — definitely not flimsy or lightweight like some budget options. They’re heavy-duty enough to handle everything from soft spreads to steak, and after several washes (both hand and dishwasher), they still look brand new. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but the quality really surprised me. The finish is clean, there are no sharp or rough edges, and they have that nice, solid feel you usually only get with more expensive cutlery. I’ll definitely be buying more from Amazon Basics in future. If you're after reliable, everyday dinner knives without spending a fortune, this set is spot on.

Needed to replace lost knives. Surprised by the good quality considering low price. Look more expensive. Sturdy and durable. They are a good size and perfect for everyday use.

Good weight. Easy to use. I have problems with my grip due to arthritis and have trouble with much cutlery. Not these, they cut meat well on the plate. Front half of blade serrated and good blade length. The balance point is about a quarter of the handle from the blade. These may be basic but they do the job really well for a great price. Ok, you wont bring them out for your next dinner party but sturdy, well made every day cutlery. Love them.

having already bought the forks and was impressed by the feel and weight of them i decided to get the knives as well. for the price these are amazing, hard wearding and feel comfortable in your hands. ive recommended amazon brand cutlery to lots of people now

Shame. I really wanted to like this a lot. Great value, lovely finish and initially we loved them, but... two months on and these have difficult to remove rust spots right in the serrated edges of the blade. disappointing.

The knives are large, sturdy, attractive, and great for purposes: buttering, cutting, and opening microwave meal packets, etc. I'm glad I bought them, as for extra items.
