Currently using this device with Sony Z5 Compact.Since the PS4 controller is a Sony product, there is a separate option within the Xperia Z5 series to connect it.I am mentioning this in case some of you out there are intending to use the PS4 controller exclusively for your mobile device, and do not own (or intend to use for) a PS4.As for this product itself, I will split up the review in three parts: DESIGN, DURABILITY, KEY POINTS.DESIGN:-Perfectly cutout for the buttons-Very minimal obstruction for SHARE, START, and Touchpad-Headphone jack and Micro USB slot exposed-Covers the triangular light on the back of the controller, between the L1 and R2 buttons-Clip extends enough to fit almost any "phablet" (Not meant for tablets imo)-Screws that hold the phone are easy to adjust and resistant-Rough finish. The plastic on the bottom of this product don't have a clean cut.DURABILITY:-The part that wraps around the controller definitely feels like cheap material, but as long as it remains on your controller permanently, it should pose no problem. If you intend on removing it and equipping it often (as PS4 players would I assume), its durability may fall short-The clip is spring loaded, but it does not come up steadily. When you pull on the spring, it can tilt a bit to the sides. This is also a concern since it feels like carelessness may break the clip.-Everything else feels very durableKEY POINTS:-This clip, when folded completely, will cover the PS button. This provides good protection for your analog sticks if you intend on carrying this in your bag. It removes the need for a separate PS4 controller case-One thing that the description failed to mention is if this clip can hold phones with CASES. My Z5 Compact is already known to be a thicker phone, and I have a case with a card pouch attachment with 4 cards. The total thickness of my device comes out to be approximately 1.5cm (~.6 inches). This clip can hold it just fine and I do not need to remove my case or cards. Thought many of you would appreciate this factAll in all, it's a product that fulfills its purpose. I still give it 5 stars rather than 4 because durability in my particular case isn't very relevant. However, as I pointed out, due to its materials, this product may be a 4 star product to many of you.Unfortunately, there are not many substitutes like this in the market, and for the price, I highly recommend this.

The device works as it should but the plastic is very thin. There was a break in part of it on arrival but it did not harm the functionality of the product at all. The product works like it should and is great if you are trying to use your phone and a Dualshock 4 controller. I bought it so that I could use it for remote play around the house with my PS4 and it works as it should. For $30 dollars I would not buy this but if it is on sale for $10-15 it is a definite buy. I cannot speak to how long it will last though as I have not used it much to this point.

Holds my phone firmly in place and snaps onto a PS4 controller firmly with no wiggle. I didn't think emulation on my phone could get any better until controller support but having to find a place to set your phone so you can use the controller was rather counter intuitive. This solves the problem and solves it well. My first concern was my phone was going to be to big/heavy (Droid Turbo) and would fall out of the support easily but it holds even when giving the whole assembly a decent shake. Second concern was the support's spring tension would wear out and not hold the phone well anymore, however after several months it still holds firmly and still holds up to shaking it without letting go. Overall great product and seems sturdy enough that daily use has not worn it out yet.

I would not recommend this device, it barely fits over the controller. It generally felt too small for the DS4 and required too much bending to get it to fit. This in combination of the brittle plastic of the device led to it breaking within 2 weeks.The other issue is the force of the component that holds phones. If your device has buttons in the middle of the sides, this device will activate them. I had to place one end of my phone in the clamp just it avoid this which made usage a bit less than what I desired.Other options may be of better quality. I used this with a standard DS4 Pad and a Xperia Z3 Compact.

This was another option I tried to use my PS Vita with a PS4 controller. I don't think it's a horrible option, but there were two major negatives that I couldn't work around:1. The clip area was not deep enough to hold the Vita satisfactorily. If they would've just made it maybe 1/2 in deeper, and not angled, it would've worked perfectly. This was made to hold a smartphone, so I'm sure it works just fine for that. But I have the newer Vita, which is probably the thickness of a phone with a decent case, so I could see this being a problem if you have your phone in an Otterbox or similar case. I tried the binder-clip mod, but it did not work well. It did not take much movement at all to have the Vita shake loose.2. The mount itself attaches to the controller with these rubber-band style connectors. It makes it less expensive to manufacture, but the mount with a phone does not feel as solid as it would otherwise. The rest of the mount feels pretty well-made and well-engineered, so I could see this being modified to being a more solid mount.Overall, I feel that this could be a pretty good mount if you were using it with a regular smartphone and no case. However, the use of a case would basically make this unusable without mods, so I can't really recommend it.
