Excellent sharpener. I have used it several times and it works as intended.

Its simple elegance and tiny grace hides a powerhouse of old school tech that is tough to beat. I use these sharpeners at work, on my make up table and in my art room. The only reason I had to buy a new one is because I lost the old one on vacation. It sure didn’t wear out, despite being over 15 years old

Such a simple little thing, but if you want a sharp pencil, just buy yourself one of these. They are a joy to use, so old fashioned but it makes a pencil as sharp as one can possibly be, very cleanly without having to do it over because the lead broke halfway through the process. Much appreciated little gift for the tradesperson in your life.

Very good manual pencil sharpener. I was taught to turn the pencil not the sharpener.

Real good sharpening

A million times better than plastic sharpeners.

At Staples, I found a tin box of 12 Staedtler JUMBO coloured pencils. The pencils will NOT fit in any pencil sharpener I have so I went looking for one. On the box of coloured pencils, it says "~5.3 mm". THIS pencil sharpener I ordered says it is good up to 8.2 mm. This sharpener I ordered and waited for is TOO SMALL. I do not understand how a company can make a product such as jumbo sized pencils and then not provide a sharpener for them. Very disappointed.

Là encore, je cherchais de la qualité car les taille-crayons à 2 balles qui ne serrent pas le crayon et le massacrent lors de la taille sont légion. Celui-ci est un bon vieux taille-crayons comme du temps où les choses étaient faites en Europe (il est fait en Chine bien sûr mais sous surveillance de qualité vraisemblablement).

Aponta bem os lápis, material de qualidade, vale a pena.
