Not the same formula
I bought several bottles of this perfume in the late 1990s and early 2000s in Germany, for myself and as gifts. I loved it so much. As I got to the end of a bottle I had, I started looking for how to get more in the U.S. and was thrilled to find it here. When I finally opened it, I was surprised by how different it smelled. Less flowery, a lot like anise. I ended up throwing it away. Recently I went looking again, and although it is still for sale here, many review are not good. So I went digging and found out that Cacharel was bought by L'Oreal and this perfume is not made by them anymore. Whatever is being sold here is either very old or a knock off and not very good. It is sad that this scent is unavailable, but don't waste your money trying one you buy here. If you are looking for the old Eden perfume, this is not it.
