These foil top caps allow you to re use vertuoline capsules saving time and money. I personally fill them up with Del Gusto coffee capsule contents and add a half tea spoon of extra coffee to beef up taste.My workplace bought a Vertuoline coffee machine which is hard to get capsules for locally so I've had to buy online which is annoying if you run out during the day. Being a top of the range machine the coffee this can be expensive and I cannot just pop to the local supermarket at lunch time as none of the nearby Tesco, Asda or Sainburys sell vertuoline capsules.I was using tin foil and glue to make my own pods but that would cause the machine to become dirty and blocked as they would often leak. These are perfect and ideal to make your own pods with. Just take a used pod out the machine, clean out contents, refill and pop one of the foil caps on top.Now I just buy the Nepresso or Del Gusto pods empty those into the vertuoline capsule and apply the foil cap. They can be a bit fiddly to line up right but once you've done 4-5 capsules in a row its easy. They generally stick well and don't leak often! Just make sure the enge of the capsule is clean and dry and you shouldn't have any leakage.

I bought a Vertuo machine last Christmas, not realizing the difference between Vertuo and Original capsules. It's a very nice machine but I didn't like the hassle or the cost of having to buy capsules from Nespresso. After using the capsules that came with the machine i packed it up and put it away.Having recently seen the Geesta adhesive tops I was intrigued enough to give them a go. I have been delighted with how they have brought my machine back into full service. I don't agree with any of the negative comments I have read, e.g. lack of adhesion. One has to be careful lining up the adhesive top to place on the capsule, but even if slightly off, providing it is stuck all the way round, with no gaps, it works extremely well. So far, I have had no failures.A variety of coffees can be used for filling, and by stopping the machine at a point during dispensing extra body can be obtained, according to taste.Care should simply be taken to use empty capsules that accord with the drink required: ie don't fill an espresso capsule if a longer drink is desired.Excellent product!

I have had the Nespresso Vertuo machine about a year now. I decided after trying a few of the types of coffee they sell to try to do the refills myself. At first it may appear difficult to place the foils, but this has been made easier by the company slightly increasing the size of the disks. I have hand tremors and I now have this down to a fine art, sometimes I get a tremor and it makes me pierce the foil, but I just put another over the top, as it's easier. I have found a particular brand of ground coffee that I totally adore, can't live without, so now the machine makes it for me just how I want it.Once you find the right brand of coffee that you personally like, doing your own refills is the most economical way to go. I buy a well known brand of Italian Coffee ground, and use the dark brown capsules to fill it into. I'm certainly a much happier bunny after my first coffee of the day.

The lids are nice but 32 pounds for a bit of aluminum paper?! It's so outrageous I just want to insult you!

Used these after buying the original Geesta kit as needed more supplies. This works really well, especially once you get into the swing of what to do. They stick well. Ultimately these save us around 50% when you buy the lids and standard ground coffee compared to official pods (and we're not close to a 'boutique' to buy them so have to bulk buy or pay for p&p for pods). It still gives the same end result and once you're ready to peel off the used lids to refill again these come off easily.

These are amazing,so easy to use. I add my favourite ground coffee with to a washed and dried Vertuo pod...they are easy to clean. Tap with the edge of a spoon to settle contents and seal,adhesion is very good. Hold the tab while attaching.When i originally ordered the seals,they didn't come with the extra bits but i managed..after wasting the first couple before I got the hang of it.Depending on the coffee, the cost of a serve is roughly halved. Love them,would have ditched the machine without them.

I think this is a great idea. Really satisfying to do the process. Not really worked out how much cheaper it is than buying the proper pods and it won’t stop me buying the originals, mainly due to the inconvenience of making the pods up. As I said, quite like doing the process and messing around with different coffees, but sometimes I just can’t be arsed! Great product, had no issues at all

I`m happy with the product, although this is my second order and the aluminium foil thickness has changed, the first order was a bit thicker, which makes easier to install.Suggestion for the manufacturer: if the diameter would be 2mm bigger the installation and the positioning would be easier.
