SERENGETI Piero Sunglasses

Not exactly as expected. Good lens, too far from face.

I am in love ... and I know I have said this for other serengeti's but it is true. I have ... nine so far ... five bought over the course of the last two months. I am one of those people who feel like sunglasses should match my outfit and be purposeful at the same time. Stylish and practical and serengeti has delivered again.I have a narrow face, and this fits snuggly enough to stay in place (these have adjustable nose pads), but not so snug as to be uncomfortable. The quality is reminiscent of serengeti's past (I have had two for over three years so far), the lenses are not so heavy it makes the glasses slide down your nose and the arms are comfortable behind your ears (I have had issues with those hurting in the past). The style is not for everyone. I am going through a "vintage" phase so I jumped at these and my face is oval so it goes with this shape. Clarity ... not sure I have to attest to that quality as serengeti's are renowned for that already ... I will add that I live in the Caribbean so I can tell you that is works. On the down side ... the style does not allow for complete coverage of the area around your eyes so so sunlight does get through. But I still give it five stars because that may not be an issue in a less sunny climate.

Have owned other Serengeti sunglasses (three different models) over the last 17 years and these are my second favorite. They are lightweight but provide a lot of coverage. I don't like the "Jackie O" large frames many women wear as my face shape isn't suited for them. I also prefer glasses with a nosepiece and these have it! Stylish. Glass lenses. Good quality-screws holding temples in place, not simply a metal rod. For the price I paid ($95) I consider these a great pair of stylish, quality glasses for a good price. I believe this model might be from 2012-2103 by the sticker on the box, but to me they are timeless. Good frame size for both men and women. Mine are tortoiseshell. Men might look better in the black frames.

These glasses are supposed to be photocromic but I haven't seen yet them to turn a but darket.May be it's just my impression as Serengeti claims all its glasses are photochromic.

These did not fit my fat face so I returned them. I'm sure it was nothing personal. This is always the best brand in sunglasses.

I ordered these after debating for weeks. I have a smaller face and have trouble finding glasses that fit. I kept going back and forth between these and the Ray Ban new wayfarer. Polarized are a must for me and these are also photochromic, so they adjust for different lighting conditions. So happy with my choice...Love them!

Have been using these for a few months and they work great. Very nice looking and you don't get the darkness when you walk into a store that you get with many others. I guess that's the polarization factor. And the way they have designed the nose rests is very comfortable. Able to wear for long periods without any problem. 5 star if price was a little lower.
