Dap 18156 11 Oz Clear Alex Plus Acrylic Latex Caulk With Silicone

I keep coming back for more of this because I like it so much. It's really easy to apply. Excess comes right off. It dries crystal clear and leaves a thinner coat as apposed to plain caulk or silicone. My only issue is if you do apply a thicker amount it takes longer to dry then silicone. However in my experience thin coats dry clear fast, a few hours maybe, thick coats take about 2 days. So if you're using around a shower or outside just be aware of rain or water running on it. I actually used a dehumidifier in my bathroom and had no problem. I'm actually here for my third purchase and figured I'd throw in a review while I was at it.

It comes out white and stays essentially white. Disappointed, I assumed it would be totally clear.

I don't have any long-term experience with this but it lays out nice and smooth and seems to work pretty well. The "clear" goes on white and dries truly crystal clear, you can't really tell it is there which is a plus for some applications and a negative for others. Other clear caulks are like scotch tape on something, slightly opaque, this looks like if water is on something it is so clear. Talking of the "clear" color only, even though I'm reviewing white, as I've used both. The white is just normal white caulk, start to finish.

Too many bubbles, so when you finish the squeeze it does not stop coming out!Very annoying, more clean up then wanted with this brand

Doesn’t bead very well. Comes out of the gun somewhat sloppily and doesn’t dry very cleanly. shrinks over time. i much prefer the Big Stretch stuff, even though it costs twice as much.

Dap does it as it should! Been using this stuff for years...personally & professionally! I do recommend and will always pick Dap for any application that calls for it!

It is better than I was hoping for. My only disappointment is, that the nozzle isn't removable.

Works great. Leaves no after mess. Dose dry like it says clear.

Came all broken at the bottom and silicone all in the box onto my other item that was in the box as well
