No. Back flow valve changes direction

Q: Can this be used as a dump valve for a 1600gallon non pressurized water tank? do you think it would leak with just that pressure from the water?

The Valterra 7101 Gate valve should work fine for this application.

Q: What is the diameter of the inlet? I need to know if this will fit onto my tank. Thank you.

The inside diameter of the hub is 1.912", and the outside diameter is 2.375". It is made for a 1-1/2" pipe to be glued into the hub.

Q: Can this be used to drain a 500 gallon duck pond?

I don't see why not. It works as well as a ball valve but it's easier to operate.
