With other yoga mats I have purchased, I have had the issue of my ankle bones digging into the ground through the yoga mat while in a sitting position causing discomfort and pain. While this yoga mat is very squishy, the material is bouncy and thick enough to not let you feel the ground beneath. I love that is comes with a carrying strap so that I do not have to make an additional purchase. The surface is ribbed and helps prevent slipping. It also came with an extra 11" x 24" piece of mat material.. I am not sure what it is for, but I use it as a something to sit on while meditating to keep my hip bones elevated. I suppose you could also use it as a head rest during shivasana or other supine exercises. My first day using the mat, I for some reason decided it would be a good idea to assemble a tension curtain rod on top of the mat. The metal edges of the curtain rod made cuts into the mat, which I am sad about. This is my fault, of course, but I do warn other buyers to keep sharp objects and objects with edges away from the mat. It is great quality for the price. I recently moved and have spent over $40 on yoga mats in the past, but I did not want to spend too much to get started back into my practice. Again, I am pleased it came with the strap to avoid a secondary purchase. I am very satisfied with this product. My boyfriend liked it and got one himself as well. I highly recommend this product.

I recently started using the FITVIDS Yoga Mat, and it has completely transformed my practice. This is a nice mat. Is it the best mat out there? Probably not, but hey, am I the best human out there? Close, but no cigar. But I'm a pretty good human and this is a pretty good mat, especially for the price. What I like about this mat is that it's very soft, fairly resilient and easy to clean. It means my neighbor in the apartment below me isn't hearing me workout while she's below me watching TV or working or whatever it is she does down there. (I'm writing this review during a pandemic, so that tidbit matters a little - more importantly - what does she even do down there?!) The knee pad is a nice touch. I like it WAY better than that weird knee pad impersonator my ab roller came with, so I've been using that. Now, I have a decent knee pad, an ab roller and exactly one ab. It's the world's okayest winning combo. Why does it get a four stars instead of five? Well, this little guy loves an imprint. It had a bit of something imprinted on it straight from the factory and if the straps are wound too tightly, they leave an imprint too. Does that make it any less functional, people? NO. Does this foam have a memory? Too soon to tell, but between you and me, it might be memory foam... It also grips pretty well, but it does have enough of a tendency to get off track on a wooden floor that I have to reposition it every so often. That said, I've not slid once while on it, and that's pretty helpful because I've never been a good surfer. I think this is the start of something great. I might even end up with two abs. Here's to hoping!

Ordered the purple and very pleased with it overall. One thing I wanted to mention is that after just a few times using it the mat seems to have spots where the texture has degraded. It has kind of a weird "pumice stone" finish and I really can't figure out why as I'm only on it with either bare feet or socks and I do not have any pets that might be leaving marks from claws. I sent the first one back because of this and the second one does the exact same thing. I can't say that it affects usage, just frustrating to know that it continues to happen. The mat is definitely cushiony and helps when elbows, knees, sit bones, etc., as I can't take being on a hard floor. The knee pad is a bonus, too. I don't know how well this mat will hold up for the long haul as I use it daily. However, if this one goes I would likely buy another for the comfort and price factor and the choices of color. There was no odor upon opening the package, however, the straps (like others mentioned) have left indentations in the mat that will not come out, no matter how long you leave it lying flat. What really matters is that I'm comfortable doing yoga poses and no more pain.

I purchased this mat and I'm so happy I did. It is better than what I expected. It's very comfortable and supportive with the exercises that I do. I'm a big girl and I will not do any floor exercises without this mat!! It supports me in length and width. It's smooth on one side and rigid on the other. I exercise on carpet so I put the rigid side down and use the smooth side. I was worried it would be too thin but it's the opposite; it's nice and thick. I love to just lay on it after working out. I can almost go to sleep on it. This mat is THEE most important piece of equipment I have purchased as I am new to working out. I will certainly purchase this again without any doubts. I love that I can roll it away and attach the carrier strap to it and just put away. It also came with a small knee pad! That's excellent to use if I only need to support my knees without rolling out the entire mat. I am so pleased with this purchase.

So I bought this yoga mat because I wanted to work out at home. I have a regular yoga mat, but it is not thick enough for floor workouts that leads me to being uncomfortable. I have been using this mat for a couple days now for yoga AND for working out. For yoga, it is super cushiony so it takes me a second to keep my balance but it works for me. For my home workouts, it is fantastic. This is also longer than my standard Gaiam yoga mat. The extra knee padding it comes with is also helpful. Please keep in mind that this mat is 1/2 an inch thick. There are mats that are thicker. But I wanted one that would be easy to store in my small bedroom. This has been perfect for me. It rolls up conveniently and the fact that it comes with a carry strap is a nice bonus. I have fake wood floor in my room and the mat does not slide around at all. This is perfect for when I am doing jumping jacks or the plank position where you bring your knees to your chest that the mat is not sliding all over the place. I do work out barefoot and it is comfortable. So far, I love this mat and the company sends you a little card saying that if you are not satisfied they would like the opportunity to make it right, and it has a 2 year warranty. This is a nice exercise mat. Thick, squishy and a little wider than my previous mat. The extra pad that is included is a nice extra. I'm still not entirely certain what I'll use it for, but it would probably work as a kneeling pad while working around the house. The carry strap for the main mat work as intended. It's about the minimum needed for such a strap, but it's functional. I do like that the straps that wrap around the mat have long pieces of velcro. This allows the mat to be rolled either tighter and more loosely. It's nice to have that flexibility. Personally I like the bright, almost neon, green color. I find it bright and cheery. It would stand out if it was being stored somewhere where it was visible, like under a couch or in a corner of a room. While I haven't used the mat extensively, I assume the durability will be similar to previous mats and with a bit of care will likely stand up well to regular use for its intended purposes. This mat was purchases via Amazon Warehouse. It was a return and was not in it's original packaging. It did not have any bad smell or other out gassing issues. But that might not be the case with an original purchase. Overall, this is a nice mat at an affordable price and I am very happy with my purchase.

After using a cheaper exercise mat at the start of lockdown, I decided to upgrade to a better one. This mat did not disappoint. I was looking for something with a bit of bounce, since my knees were getting a pounding from performing lunges on a thin exercise mat. It hasn’t shredded (like cheaper mats do) and It also provides enough traction for yoga poses. I have a wooden floor and this mat stays put through all my exercises. All in all, a good all round mat.

Estuve pensando muy bien en cual elegir entre todos los que te ofrece Amazon, y me decidí por este, esta bastante grueso, no se siente el suelo y en mi caso si trae el tapete aparte para las rodillas y el aditamento para transportarlo, la verdad una excelente calidad, si llega al 1.2 cm (o 1/2 pulgada) de grueso por lo que es bastante cómodo, lo utilizo yo y mi hijo para jugar, le gusto bastante la comodidad que tiene

Tappeto per fare yoga stupendo, super spesso, non ti fai male quando esegui esercizi sulle ginocchia, ha anche un piccolo tappetino in più. Comprende una tracolla per portarlo comodamente (che purtroppo segna un po' il tappetino, ma nulla di troppo drammatico). Lo consiglio assolutamente.

Ha uno spessore che si avverte alla schiena. É davvero comodo. Utilizzato per un campo scout con sopra il sacco a pelo si è mostrato davvero indicato.
