Is this the old Yvresse (Champagne) parfume in different bottle and packaging or this is a new one?

the only tottle I have ever seen is shaped like a champagne bottle with a cork. After the region of Champagne sued them (copyright: a great marketing tool to get free publicity) they changed the name to "Ivresse." (That was a clever way to combine Yves and ivresse, which means drunkenness.) I never saw any other iteration of the bottle except the bottle form.If it is old, it is at least 15 years old, because I've used the perfume at least that long, maybe longer. HOpe this helps.

A web search indicated that this is similar in profile to nina ricci's deci dela. does anyone know if this is true? i miss deci dela so much!

No, not at all! I am a long time user of Champagne which later became Yvresse by YSL and has a very specific scent. I’ve tried Deci Dela and although it has some similar notes, does not even come close.

Yes, and I am so glad I found it again! I just found out about 5 years ago that the reason I couldn't find it was because of the name change. I got this a couple of weeks ago and am so happy I did!

Can anyone tell me the difference between this and the other Yvresse on Amazon at $78.69? This packaging is beige and the other one is a pink box-

I was a signature user of Champagne by Yves Saint Laurent, which is no longer available. Several years ago they changed to Yvresse which I also purchased and still have a bottle which is still my all-time favorite scent!! I have purchased both both current versions of Yvresse in both the pink colored box and another in the beige colored box. All I can tell you that both are LIGHTER scented versions of the original. I cannot tell any difference in either scent except that it is a much lighter version of the original. I hope this can help you with your choice.

Great find

I went to Paris in 2000 and was introduced to Yvresse. It's been my favorite scent ever since. So glad to find it on Amazon.

This has been my favorite cologne for 25 plus years

This cologne used to be called champagne but after a lawsuit the title was changed. I have been using it for more than 25 years and it's still my favorite. It has a light citrusy smell

Don’t be fooled. It’s not champagne!

This is nothing like champagne. I don’t know how anybody could think this is the same scent . I have been using champagne for over 20 years. This is not even close. What a waste of money. First I’d like to know why they change the name from Champaign To Yvresse? Now they put it in a new bottle and call it Yvresse. Like I said I’ve been using it for 20 years and I got a lot of compliments on the sand on the scent. When I took this new bottle out of the package and sprayed some on my wrist, I smelled rubbing alcohol.

Close but not enough!

Not very good attempt to imitate or get closer to the wonderful scent of The original Yvresse (former Champagne) the scent is pretty close but not as long lasting and distinctive as Yvresse. I am very disappointed that the original Yvresse is no longer on the market. For everyone who loves the original scent, this is the closest you can get

Absolutely the most feminine fragrance ever

I first smelled this fragrance while on a cruise. A lady from Australia hugged me and she was wearing it. She smelled wonderful and I couldn’t get the fragrance out of my mind. I tracked her down and got the name of the fragrance. I bought it as soon as I returned home. Now it is the only fragrance I wear. It smells wonderful, not overwhelming. Feminine, soft, and will become your signature fragrance!
