Love my downy ball
I have used the downy ball for years. A friend of mine has a front loading washer. They could not use liquid softener and as I wanted a new ball I ordered this set of three.

Doesn't hold up well
I'm glad that this came 3 in a box, because the pull ring yanked out of the rubber backer on the first ball, second use.

Very Practical
Great to use on those machines that do not have and automatic dispenser. I would suggest you add a bit of water to the ball to facilitate the dispensing of the softener. If you use it straight there tends to be some liquid left over.
