I think it can hold up to 45L, I carry many things like the clothes, water bladder, daily items to Cancun Mexico, it was great.

Q: Does this backpack chafe or rub against your neck or dig into your shoulders when doin an activity that involves a lot of moving, like hiking?

I took this on a 4000 ft gain and 13 mile hike and it was incredibly comfortable. I'm 5'4" and my 6'1" friend used the same one on the same hike. Make sure you're adjusted at home with a full pack before you decide if it rubs or not. I thought mine rubbed my neck but my friends showed me how to adjust it. It's really an incredible value for all you can pack in this thing.

Q: Does this bag come with a water bladder? Can a 2L bladder fit in?

This backpack does not come with a water bladder. I purchased a standard 2L bladder separately and it worked great with the bladder pocket, hooks and water hose holes in the backpack.
