I have installed this in my massage studio. I love how the sleek design fits in with the clean professional image I like to project. Sound level is also very important. I was so surprised that I couldn’t hear the air when I had music playing. Wow! I am easily able to change the direction of air flow so it doesn’t blow on my clients directly. It keeps my small room cool and comfortable. I really like how easy it is to adjust.The remote is perfect. There are easy to follow symbols for the different optional settings, and the batteries are easily replaceable- no specialty size.I was able to install this myself, however, I used some longer screws and I needed a drill since my window frames are metal. I also needed additional weather stripping to seal all the gaps. The directions were easy to follow. This is a bit heavy and bulky so have a sturdy chair or bench handy. I would have loved to have a second person to help if they were available. No outside shelf was necessary.I’ve only had this a week, but so far I’m impressed, cool and comfortable. My clients are, too. I haven’t cleaned the filter yet or tested longevity obviously so I will update with any more pertinent info at a later date.

I only installed this yesterday; but, I think this unit deserves some praise so far. It is the perfect bedroom A/C. I hoped it would be quieter than most; but didn't expect much in that regard. When I installed it, I was shocked. You can't even hear this thing running. Also it is plenty cold enough. A further perk is that all the LED lights on the panel can be shut off with the remote so there's no light emitted from it in the bedroom either. For sleeping comfort, it far exceeds my expections.Be forewarned that this is not your typical 5,000 BTU, $100 Walmart special. This is a substantial unit. It is quite a bit bigger than most cheapo units, and it is quite a bit heavier. If you've got to carry it far, or up stairs, you can expect to need two people. This unit is twice as expensive as the lot of small, cheap A/C units; but so far it seems to be well worth the cost. A machine well done.

I very seldom write reviews, as I expect stuff to do just what they say they will do. But, you are all right, they very seldom do, This air conditioner does just what it says, It really is the most quiet AC I have ever encountered It great looking and appears east to use and maintain. Its still cool here, but it seems to blow out plenty of cold air,I have only had it a few days, so I can't really comment past that.Will definitely sell a few of these units by word of mouth!

All of our window air conditioners died within two weeks of putting them back in the windows, yikes! I did a lot of research, and found that this would work very well in our bedroom. It is so quiet that you can hardly hear that it is on. I love how you can turn off the LEDs at night, because I sleep in a dark room and like it very quiet with no ambient light. And it is so beautiful in the window as well, I wish they would come back in stock so we could get one for our den.

It is extremely quiet. Poorly packaged though causing it to get damaged easily in shipping.

I ordered this item to use in my pickup truck while camping. A bit of a hassle to install compared to a portable unit, but much more compact and seems more efficient than a portable. I was really happy with it. the remote is top quality and I really like that the unit could start and stop to maintain a particular temperature. Very comfortable.

I've had many window ac units over the years and very impressed with these units. I purchased two of them and very glad I did, did I mention quiet? A great remote and other features I was looking for and hope to get many years of usage from these units. Just what I wanted, thank you!

This is probably the best air conditioner on the market today. Bought it based on the other reviews and was not disappointed. It is extremely quiet, efficient and a very handsome unit compared to the others. Very easy to install.
