I run this through the dishwasher every couple of days, and it has stood up well for several weeks (the rubber on the bottom too). We are feeding a couple of feral cats on a back porch, and these have actually succeeded in keeping the tiny odorous house ants out--a minor miracle. The cats also seem to like them. I got two--one is usually being cycled through the dishwasher, while the other is outside for the animals.

I ordered an 8 cup because I have an xl dog. It will hold 8 cups but only if mounded pretty high - which defeats the purpose of ant proof. Because it’s mounded food pieces fall off and ants are all around the bowl.

TOTALLY WORTH IT! I've tried the water barrier method, but it dries out too fast, especially when my dog drinks it. I wasn't sure if this bowl was going to work, but so far so good! It's been a couple of months and NO ANTS!

This dog dish advertised as ANT proof. Works great hundreds of ANT'S all over the dish inside and out. Had to throw away dog food it was so full of ANT'S. It is a piece of junk DO NOT PURCHASE AND THE PERSON WHO SELLS IT SHOULD GO TO JAIL FOR STEALING. AMAZON SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR ALLOWING THE SALE OF GARBAGE. Had to rate it as one star does not except 0 stars

I give it 1 star. I purchased it due to an ant problem. On the second day of use it was covered in ants 💔

Anti ant bowl? It’s got more ants then an anthill. This picture was taken 15 minutes after putting food in the bowl.

I and my dogs like this bowl quite a bit! I had a lot of problems with ants and was in hopes this bowl would work for me and it did! Easy to clean. Very pleased.
